Ruff Start Rescue of East TN is now 865 Rescue and Rehome. This was done to avoid confusion with a similiar named rescue.

Ozzy has found his furever home and it is perfect for him he has a new mom and dad 2 hooman sisters and a fur sister… he is loving his new home! He wa a real project but definitely worth it!

There has been a delay to report this cause my heart was broken. Ou new little puppy born to Sunni did not make it and crossed the rainbow bridge failure to thrive. I have been so heartbroken but wanted to let you know she died in my arms and is now at rest in my pet cemetery!

Y’all we are DESPERATE!

We are closed for intakes of new animals until we get some fosters in!

What this means: dogs in desperate need of our rescue will remain in shelters.

Fostering for us, saves more than just one life of a shelter dog, it saves many.

We pay for everything you need for your foster dog, all you provide is a safe home for them to stay in while we find them a home.
