Welcome Mona! Mona is the mom to the now infamous Olive who received an overwhelming response and interest. Olive is now adopted and with her new family. Momma Mona we thought was adopted but adopter backed out, soooooo here this beautiful girl is, available for adoption.

14 mos old 28 lbs UTD on vaccines and spayed. She is as beautiful as Olive . Needs fenced yard as she was a stray and working on recall. Well on her way to be housetrained. Crate trained. Really good girl and still very puppy like even though she was a momma at a very early age! Reach out and complete an application to come meet this sweet girl. But do it quick, she is amazing and someone will fall in love quickly with this girl!

⚡️⚡️Adoption Update⚡️⚡️

Basil is thriving in his new home! He lives with a wonderful family which includes bestie and partner in crime Retsuko and two little girls. The 2 year old calls him "My Basil" and the 5 year old is keeping up on his training and no doubt killing it. They adore him more and more each day despite the fact that he and Retsuko are apparently digging to China in the backyard!

We have a huge adoption process this weekend. All of the following have pending adoptions in the works, so happy for our babies that will be in their furever homes very soon!

Meet Prince! 👑
Prince is a wonderful 6–7-year-old boy looking for his forever home. He was neutered at four years old and knows all his basic obedience commands—sit, down, stay—and loves showing them off.

Prince’s absolute favorite thing in the entire world is playing ball. He’ll happily chase it for as long as you’re willing, and he even brings it right back. If you say “my turn,” he’ll proudly drop the ball at your feet and wait for the next throw.

He does best with submissive male dogs and has lived comfortably with them inside the home. Prince cannot live with cats—no exceptions—so we are firm about finding a cat-free environment for him.

A fenced-in backyard is a must so he can safely run and play. He is great with kids and adults, up-to-date on all vaccines, and ready to love his new family with everything he’s got.

If you’re looking for a loyal, playful companion who lives for fetch and loves being with his people, Prince might be your perfect match.

How we love our dogs may seem normal to us but can actually have a negative affect on our dog without balance.

All of our “Love” and affection can and will not…

— Turn bad behavior into good behavior
— Turn disrespect into consideration
— Turn insecurity into confidence
— Turn reactivity into stability
— Turn aggression into passivity
— Turn untrustworthiness into reliability
— Turn hyperactivity into calmness

Unless of course, we’re capable of actually Leading, which includes sharing some not-so-fun insistence that teaches a dog what NOT to do.

Worried about connection, bond, and relationship, we forfeit what’s actually necessary (clear rules & boundaries) for what can become a truly transformative relationship. Attempting to fix unhealthy behavior by “loving” & smothering our dogs more, simply results in an intensification of our current issues.

If only affection, cuddles, treats, and toys were enough!

Instead, we need to think hard about what “love” truly entails — a more personalized, nuanced expression encompassing a balance of soft when earned, and stern when appropriately necessary.

OUR job is to know where our dog falls on the personality spectrum, in order to provide a very balanced approach to expressing our LOVE, and as a result, creating true happiness and wellbeing.

We can all LOVE our dogs better by Leading them more.
