Our Dog Pacer Treadmill came in today and Merle got to be the first one to try it out! Merle is happy go lucky about pretty much everything so we figured he wouldn’t mind the opportunity to get a few more steps in and some extra love from other people outside of his daycare room.

He did not disappoint. Caught on quickly and handled it like a pro!! Great job Merle!!🥇

Our treadmill will be utilized as part of our day school program we are working to implement where dogs that might not love daycare still need the opportunity to burn off some energy!

With all of the excitement yesterday, we didn’t announce our contest winner, but we did get to meet him at the grand opening and he’s JUST as perfect in real life!!

Thank you Angie Ford for sharing what turned out to be just one of many dress up days for Gizmo with us! We look forward to having him in daycare!

Wow we had a wonderful and busy day at the Grand Opening! We are so thankful for everyone who came out and also to those who have messaged their support!

We 💗 being part of this community and today only cemented that fact!

Now for the unfair part…the humans were the ones working, meeting people and giving tours, yet somehow Oliver, Gigi, and Hank, who is staying with us from Oh My Dog Rescue, managed to get massages at the end of the event…how is that even fair? Can we file a complaint or something? None of them did ANY work!!

Well either way, they wanted us to let you know that they give Double A Canine Massage two 🐾 up and definitely recommend!!

We managed to catch the EXACT moment we told Oliver, Gigi, and guest, Hank that we forgot to order some sort of exciting “GRAND OPENING” sign. We were just so busy this week hanging out with dogs and having fun!

Either way, even if it isn’t obvious due to the 🌧️ our event IS happening today and we are excited to see other dog lovers and their canine bosses from the community.

We hope to see you there so stop in anytime from 11:00am-1:00pm, have some food, get your dog a massage and pawdicure, and see why they’ll ❤️ it here!!

It’s ALMOST time to announce our winner and right now we have one clearly in 1st place! 🥇 Gizmo dressed as what looks like a 🌈 bunny has 41 likes, but the other contenders still have a chance! We’ll announce the winner right before 11:00am today which is also when our Grand Opening begins so share our post and encourage friends and family to vote for your pup!!

Also, we invite everyone to visit our location at 202 N. Third St. in Knoxville today for our Grand Opening celebration from 11:00am-1:00pm! We’ll have food for you to enjoy, a ribbon cutting ceremony with the Knoxville, IA Chamber of Commerce at 12:00pm. We’ll also have Double A Canine Massage here and our friends from Bark Of The Town IA Mobile Grooming to give free pawdicures to those pups with a current rabies certificate on hand, on file with them, or if owners have a photo.

Lastly, we would love to give you a tour so you can see why your pups will love it here!! 💕

DON’T FORGET: We’re having our dog friendly Grand Opening event tomorrow from 11:00am-1:00pm! Even if there is some rain🌧️ we’ll just move it all inside so come and see why your dog will love it here!!!

We will also have Double A Canine Massage on site giving mini sessions AND Bark Of The Town IA mobile pet grooming will be here to provide pawdicures to your pups who might need it! (Rabies certificate or a picture of the certificate required for any pawdicures please!)

Happy Thursday!!

Walter and Oliver did soo well at their “sit and wait” today that we just had to share!!

Our awesome Bark Ranger, Alexa was able to get 40 feet away while working with them! This is an excellent skill for pups to learn about inbetween play sessions!

(We also posted a picture from the front too because while we have shared Oliver before, Walter is so handsome, we didn’t want you to miss out!! 😍)

The aftermath of doggy daycare is real! 😴 But we wouldn't have it any other way. (Don’t judge us for the crooked rug though because that was caused by the 9 yr old human child 2 minutes before everyone crashed.) 😂

We are open M-F 7:00am-6:00pm and 8:00am-1:00pm on Saturday so bring your canine friends and let them experience the joy of playtime and nap time! 🐾💤

Gigi, Murphy, and Oliver are soooo excited to make some new best friends tomorrow! 🐶🥳🐶

DON’T FORGET: Knox And The Hound is officially open starting at 7am tomorrow and your dogs want to come hang out with us while you work! The weather is going to be rainy so why not let us play with your pup all day and you can pick them up when they’re all tired out?

A few reminders:
-Dogs 6 months and older need to be spayed/neutered to participate in daycare because…yikes that would be a mess if they weren’t, right? Also, we don’t want to make the Marion County Humane Society mad. We love all of the awesome people that keep that shelter running!! 💕
-Dogs also need to be healthy and up to date on their vaccines. We’ll confirm this prior to your dog joining the party. You can either bring in proof of vaccinations or we can call your vet to confirm. You can also pre-register on Gingr and upload your records if you prefer to do it that way!
