Meet Augustus! Augustus was probably a seal in his past life. With his coloring and his love for all things water, we can’t believe he came back as a dog this time around! His favorite things to do at the shelter include taking long, leisurely walks so he can sniff everything, playing in the water tubs, romping around with his doggy friends, and getting treats from his human friends. He’ll sit so pretty for you just to earn a snack. Don’t disappoint this guy—ask to meet him today at our Division Street location!

Malibu has had a rough start to the year. However, she is committed to her new years resolution being to find the purrfect forever home. One that will adore and cherish her for the true sweetheart she is. Her foster parents have been helping her recover from a crusty skin issue. With some fish oil, cat sweaters, and medication to help keep her from itching, she is making a great recovery. She is making friends with visiting people and the resident cats. She is a bit uncertain on the foster’s resident dogs, but doesn’t mind coexisting with them. She just doesn’t seem to be too keen on wrestling the way the pups do. She loves to make biscuits on her foster parents’ laps and on the cat beds. She enjoys climbing up the cat towers to perch as if she is a queen admiring her domain from her mighty castle. Her fosters think it is so cute when she chirps to greet them for meal times. If you have space in your heart for a sweetie like Malibu, apply online to speak with her foster parents.

Meet Gimlet! Gimlet is a very snuggly ā€œvelcro dogā€; she will want to be glued to your side any time you are with her. She is a doll baby who has a very squish-able face. In our playgroups with other dogs, she is described as social, sweet, and confident. She is very tolerant with people and would likely do well with children. She has been doing well with house training. Adopt Gimlet today!
