July is a very busy month for most since we all want to take our kids on vacation. So with that being said, I have VERY limited availability for the rest of the summer.

I do have a few openings in the next week for small breeds for the Karns/HV/West Knox area.

After driving to check my routes that I have scheduled over the next few days, I have decided to close until Saturday. I will reevaluate then.

The main roads are clear and very drivable. The subdivisions and back roads are not.

This is so heartbreaking!

🚩🚩 ***911 EMERGENCY PLEASE READ FULLY*** 🚩🚩

Well Catio friends, followers, and supporters, coming to you with one of -those- posts. If you've followed us at all on the main Catio page you know what I mean, but this time I'm here asking you to be ready to get mad. Here goes...
Today at 10:46 we received notice from the City of Mt Juliet, an immediate cease and desist for the Senior Catio location. A letter that gives us just 10 days to stop operation and get out of the building. The building we have carefully and lovingly put THOUSANDS of dollars into in order to make it a welcoming and safe for the kitties.
Catio Why?
Trust us, we've been screaming for hours now. Why is because the owner of this property entered into a lease with us for a building that CANNOT be occupied by law. Due to zoning regulations NOTHING can be in this building, even worse the city says the landlord has been told this before. Again this structure/garage is prohibited from being utilized as a business, and no further business operations can continue and it was a known fact before we even signed our lease.
The mix of emotions we are feeling is.... well lets just say there's a lot of words I can't put onto our social media pages, but that this post has taken me sometime to write because I am shaking.
So, what do we do? Well once the panic, cry, scream into the void, hit something, and maybe be sick pass we are trying to figure that out. We are looking for a new space. We are talking to the city about options. We are talking with legal professionals.
No matter who we talk to we still are faced with some very big bumps in the road, so what we can do right now is start fundraising. We hope to recoup our costs in this space, but we have no idea how long that might take.
No matter what we have to keep going. These cats need us, we are meeting a need that no one else in the area is. To do that, more than anything right now we need funding so we have started our first ever gofundme.

Just as a friendly reminder-

All payments are due at the time of service.

No exceptions.

If payment is not received by 5 pm on the day of services, a $20 late fee, per day will be added, up to 3 days.

After the 3rd day, your pet will be removed from future routes and your invoice will be mailed.

I appreciate all of my clients and hope that you all understand why this has to be in place and enforced. This is effective as of 7/5/23.
