Peggy update (formerly known as Buffy):
She had her stump leg fully amputated a few weeks ago and is recovering nicely! She hasn’t skipped a beat and is jumping up on beds and cat trees (and maybe a Christmas 🎄 is in danger of being explored) Our favorite update is seeing her playing fetch with her mama!
Thank you to all of our followers who cared, offered advice, and wished her well as well as contributed to her surgery GoFundMe.
It truly takes a village and we at Purr-Fect Match are very grateful for our village!!
Does anyone else have a cat who thinks you should bury your coffee?? Every kitty is a critic 💩☕️
The date has been set for our next, and possibly last, fundraiser for this year. Scheduling conflicts may not give us enough time to schedule another one for fall. Harbor Lights has once again offered to host us for a summer event (thank you Dave!) on July 22, 2023. We are going to mix things up a little bit with this one and try something new. We are doing a hotdog bar, with all the fixings (including chili and sauerkraut). We will have some baskets, as well as silent auction items. Because we have a lot of extra inventory/donations that don't really fit into a basket, we'd like to try a "yard sale". If you have any new or gently used items that you would like to donate, please contact us. Hopefully the weather will cooperate with us this year again so keep your fingers crossed. Stay tuned for updates.
An update on the Woodpile gang we took in three weeks ago. They are healthy, growing like weeds and hitting all their marks. And, of course, they are adorable!
Pickles (named by the daughter and son of Lisa), was probably tossed outside when his family moved from nearby apartments. He is very loving and playful. Between 1 and 3 years old. The family whom he has adopted cannot keep him because there are allergies with all but one person in the household! PFM does not have an open foster home. COULD YOU FOSTER FOR US?
As friendly as this guy is, we would hope he could be adopted soon. PFM pays for the vets costs. He has already been to a vet to see if he was microchipped (no), neutered (no), or anything else. We will try to have him neutered prior to coming to your home. PLEASE think about having this one guy and fostering for us. It is the only way he can be helped...and winter is coming...
We understand that Kylo learned some sassiness at his foster home. Now he entertains his forever family with his antics!
Jada's brothers went to their forever home a few weeks ago. Saturday, she found her very own! We have pictures here of her sleeping, as she is much too active (with two human children to fill up her days) to get a picture that is anything but a blur! Jada has quickly adapted and everyone has fallen in love with her. We are so thankful to her adoptive family for giving her a loving home and her foster family for raising such a well-adjusted young girl!
It will be an exciting spring for our adopted babies and their new families!!
