With the tragic passing of our newest tracking dog Delilah, we are permanently closing our doors. It’s been a pleasure serving the community of Indiana over the years. If money is tight, a tracking dog is the better option.
Using a tracking dog to recover deer is the traditional method. We capitalize on keeping tradition alive.

Update on Miss B- (my baby)

We are 2 months since the start of it all, she is recovering very well from a completely torn ACL.
She is walking on both her back legs. No longer holding her back leg up when she walks. Unless she runs then sometimes she will hold it up when she runs. But it’s become rare for her to hold that leg up anymore. She’s walking and running on it normally most the time.

But she has been running around full throttle with both back legs as if she never had a torn acl. She’s not healed completely yet but she has made a lot of progress! When she uses the bathroom she kicks both her back legs and stretches them which she did all the time before the injury. So she’s back almost to her normal self 👏🏽 She is still on pain/inflammation meds and she will be on those for a while longer as she heals. I’m so happy to be writing this positive update 😊 I was very worried about this little girl. We decided not to do surgery (vet said the acl would eventually heal without surgery, just take longer to heal) and the vet said even a knee brace wouldn’t help much if any with recovery. I’m amazed to see her recovering so quick!

Update on our baby Miss B (my little dog).

Surgeon said she has a torn acl, complete tear. He doesn’t feel comfortable doing the surgery because this little girl has a history of seizures and there’s high risk she could have a seizure coming out of anesthesia. He referred us to a surgeon that could do it for $4k.
The surgeon and the vet both said the ACL will heal if we choose not to do surgery, it’ll just take a lot longer to heal than if we had surgery. After a lot of thought we have decided to not put her through surgery. We have limited her daily activities and she gets restricted exercise right now. She is on pain/inflammation medication for the ACL.
About once every 3 or 4 months she has a seizure. Tomorrow she starts seizure medication. We are hoping it gets rid of her seizures completely. On a positive note the surgeon said our little dog could live for 20 years. 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽 that would be amazing if we had this little girl for 20 years. We love her dearly. This is my baby.

Our little baby Miss B the vet thinks tore her ACL. We go see a surgeon tomorrow for an exam. If she tore it, surgery could cost thousands. We are praying she just sprained her knee and surgery won’t be needed. Please keep Miss B in your prayers. This is my baby ❤️
