With the 4th of July coming up in a couple weeks, we know it can be exciting with the fireworks, people coming over for cookouts, etc. But for our pets, it can be a very scary and nerve-racking night. If your pet gets anxious or fearful with fireworks or loud noises, they may need a calming medication that can help ease their anxiety so they are more relaxed! On Monday, our hours are going to be a little different so everyone can go outside to see the eclipse happen. We will be taking appointments from 8am-1:30pm, then resume at 4pm.
Stay safe if you're going to be outside watching the eclipse! Make sure you get some cool glasses like me! 🐾👑

The month of February is Pet Dental Health Month! Of course, we think this topic is important year-round! Here are a few things you can do to help stay on top of your pet's dental health!
-Bring your pet in for yearly checkups. Our doctors always do an oral exam to see how your fur baby’s teeth look!
-You can try brushing your pet's teeth at home with toothbrushes and C.E.T. Pet toothpaste
-If your pet doesn’t sit still to brush their teeth, you can try Tartar Shield products! The biscuits, cat treats, and rawhide chews help slow down the build-up of tartar

Taylor is reading a book written by one of our very own clients, Cindie Hudson. This book is cute, yes, but it is more than that! It’s a first reader for children to promote literacy and the joy of reading. Cindie and her two certified therapy pups, Harlee & Seger, routinely participate in a program at our local library that allows students to read to her dogs because animals never judge children based on their speech variances or reading aptitude. This helps new readers thrive.
