To round Vet Tech Week off, we want to lastly thank our behind the scenes Kennel Attendants and Volunteers. They help keep our clinic clean and fresh, do laundry, keep building supplies up-to-date, and help out our hospital staff when needed. We're so grateful for all they do!

As with a lot of veterinary hospitals, we have several staff members that are cross-trained between the hospital and the front desk. Abby and Kara divide their week between working in the hospital, surgery, and also the front desk! The Front Desk Associates play an integral part in our clinic’s success. They are often tasked with providing exceptional customer service, answering client questions, servicing incoming patients, screening, and scheduling appointments. They answer phone calls, send out appointment reminders, text with our clients, and are the message takers for our doctors. They help with preparing medications to go home for our patients, type in most medical records along with invoicing and cashiering. They are the first smiling face you see once you enter our waiting area!

You may have noticed we have some furry friends with us behind the desk. The staff may bring in their pets to spend the day with all of us. You never know when you will see Tater Tot, a frenchie, a pug, a shih-poo or a doodle up front with us!

Please join us in wishing Taylor a very happy 7 year work anniversary! Over the last seven years, Taylor has gained critical experience in her numerous roles at Pet Care Clinic. Her years working as part of the hospital staff has given her the skillset necessary to understand everyone’s responsibility within the clinic. Once Taylor started working at the reception desk, she was mentored by our former practice manager, Amanda! Amanda and Dr. Hiss recognized Taylor’s leadership capabilities and knew in time, she would assume a leadership role at Pet Care Clinic.

Last month, Taylor was promoted to Office Manager of Pet Care Clinic. She is often quizzed by the staff due to her unique gift of knowing the majority of our client’s names and the fur baby who they belong to! It is amazing to see!

Happy work anniversary Taylor! Thank you for all you do!🐾🩷
