Keep Your Pets Safe! 🐾❄️

We are under extreme cold watch —be sure to protect your furry family members! Here are some quick and essential tips to keep them safe and warm. 🐶🐱💙

❄️ General Tips:
• Bring pets indoors where it’s warm and cozy. If they must go outside, limit their time in the cold. 🏠🔥
• Provide a warm, dry, draft-free sleeping area that’s elevated off the floor. 🛏️✨

🐶 For Dogs:
• Limit walks to short potty breaks, especially for smaller or short-haired breeds. 🐕🧥
• Some breeds handle the cold better than others, but most need limited outdoor time.
• Watch for signs of cold-related stress like shivering or lifting paws off the ground. 🐾🥶

🐱 For Outdoor Cats:
• Build or set up insulated shelters with clean straw or bedding for outdoor or feral cats. 🏠💛
• Regularly check water bowls to ensure they aren’t frozen. 💧❄️
