Meet Andre! 5YO & 90 lbs.

Andre has lived in the shelter for 4 years & desperately needs to find a home! He is shy when you first meet him, but warms up to you pretty quickly! He loves to play fetch & run. Due to his size, we believe a home with older kids would be best.

Andre is house AND crate trained. Please, someone, give this boy the chance he deserves!

Update on Rosie…❤️🐾

Hi MaryHelen! Another yearly update as we celebrate Rosie’s 5th birthday and gotcha day! She’s certainly living her best life and knows love every single day. She’s our snuggly cinnamon roll and we love her so so much and will forever be thankful for you rescuing her and bringing her to us. Thank you for the work you + all of your volunteers do. You not only change the lives of so many dogs, but also their people. ♥️🐾

Hi 👋🏼 there! My name is MJ. I’m just over here wondering if my FURever family will come to rescue me, soon. I’m really enjoying playing with all of my friends here at the Pals Place, there hasn’t been a single dog I didn’t get along with, but I know being in my *own* house with my *own* things would be a dream come true. I really love to play fetch & being outside is truly just the best! I really hope someone rescues me who will throw a ball for me & take me on walks & show me what it’s like to be in a family, something I’ve been missing out on these first few months of my life.

The girls here at Pals say I’m about a year old, give or take. They tell me I’m a family guy & that I would do great in a home with a playmate, whether that might be another fur-sibling or a human-kid. I really like people & I’m always being told I’m a “good boy”, so I think that counts for something, right?!

So tell me, am I the boy for you? I’d love to meet you to see if I’d be the perfect fit! Oh, one more thing, if you wanna see me in action, check out the video they took of me down below!

Bruno is looking for a new family and he’s located in Lafayette Indiana. Please share and help him.

Meet Bruno. This 1 year old, 109 pound baby, with a big bark, is a Newfie/ Retriever mix. He is very well behaved and listens to commands. He loves his toys including playing fetch, tug a war, and any chew bones will do. He still has some teenager behaviors like shredding toliet paper if given the chance.

Bruno is good with other dogs. He would love a fenced yard since he can be strong on leash. He would do fine with older children and prefers women over men, but warms up. Bruno does have some separation anxiety, but he comes with a heavy-duty crate that he is comfortable in. Bruno is neutered, up to date on vaccines, heartworm negative, and microchipped. Xena was surrendered to the shelter when her family lost their home. She was so confused to be in a cage, and it's not her favorite place to be. She is a climber and can jump very high so she will need to be leash walked for exercise unless she is being watched. Xena is very sweet and walks well on a leash. She's a great medium size and has the most beautiful and softest coat. She is very dog selective and would need to meet any dogs sharing her space. She has a lot of energy so she would love an active family! If you would like to meet Xena, please email the shelter at [email protected] and request an application!
