An OLD goat came into the shop just for a spa day! This guy was harvested and mounted in the 70s, and was still in great shape! Some minor cracking around the eyes, nose and lips and just a few spots in the hide where it had drummed and cracked over time.

Cleaning your mounts at home is easier than you think!
Horns and antlers can simply be wiped down with a damp rag.
For fur and hair, a damp rag will also do. Just wipe the hair in the direction of the grain, never against. For real fuzzy things such as this goat, or maybe a bear or wolf, once you wipe it down, you can take a hairbrush and gently brush it out.
Cotton swabs with windex work great for cleaning the eyes and inside of nostrils, just be careful not to scrub hard around any eyelids or lashes.

Birds and fish I recommend a feather duster or a swifter duster. Birds be sure to dust in the direction of the feathers to not dishevel anything.
