We are very excited to add this daughter of MADI/TRV AFTERSHOCK *ENNOBLED* and BERNIE CLAIR DE LUNE *ENNOBLED* to the herd. She is heavy bred to 2JW JACKPOT'S RISKY BUSINESS and due in approximately 3 weeks!

The does I bought out of The Cowboy Classic sale got delivered last night and they are even better than I was expecting!

I was also pleasantly surprised to receive this beautiful 40 Oz cup for being the Volume Buyer at the sale! 🤩

We have been looking for an elite black female to add to the farm and we finally found her! Bred and raised by Idlewind Boers in Athens TN!

Born 1/17/24, this doe has a big future ahead of her! She is going to be a beast! Hopefully, we can get her in the show ring soon!

Well, now that we have a much larger ranch in southern Missouri, I figured I might as well add some more does back to the herd after cutting back due to space this spring.

We added these five adult does to the herd from the The Cowboy Classic sale today!

Two open does that we will be putting in with CROOKED S N03 LETHAL WEAPON and three that are exposed to 2M BOER GOATS SNOW AVALANCHE (last picture).

Super excited to utilize these does in our program!

I am officially grounding myself from buying anymore goats after adding six new does in less than a week. 😅

I just wanted to get on here and apologize for being MIA.

There has been a lot going on in my personal life.

We are also in the process of moving from Marmaduke AR to Koshkonong MO.

We will be doing out first embryo transfer this September and are very excited about that!

We will keep everyone updated on the process since it's a completely new experience for us and want to share as much information about it as we can for other people who might be interested in it but are intimidated by the thought of it!

Snapped a quick cell phone picture of our donor doe, CCB4 J197 ALL GOOSED UP FOR THE PARTY yesterday just hanging out in the pasture. We absolutely adore this doe.

We are hoping to try frozen semen from RRD AMERICAN DREAM in the flush but if not, she will either be flushed to 7KY CROOKED S RHINESTONE COWBOY (if he is tall enough to get the job done) or CROOKED S N03 LETHAL WEAPON.

Here's a Doe that I didn't think I'd ever let leave our farm! With our upcoming flush, we have added several recip does to the farm, with more scheduled to be delivered soon, so we are cutting back some on registered does to keep numbers within a manageable range for one person!

We have owned Marie since she was a yearling. She is an EXCELLENT mother and very heavy milker. We have kept back every Doe kid that she has produced for us, which is the only reason she is available now.

I'm not sure if goats can be homozygous black, but every kid she has produced for us has been a black dapple of some sort, even when bred to non-black or non-dapple bucks.

She is in pasture/breeding condition. Pictures taken today. We just weaned a black dapple Doe kid off of her last week that we are keeping back.

Our loss is definitely your gain!

Since we are keep ling back several of his doelings and a black dapple buckling, we have decided to make the hard decision to offer one of our herdsires.

His bite has shifted some as he has matured but I believe it's still within show standards.

If we was a larger operation, he wouldn't be going anywhere! We just can't justify keeping him when we are keeping one of his sons, over half of his daughters born this year, and have some does bred to him for fall kids.

It has been brought to our attention that scammers are using some of our pictures. Please, please, please be careful buying from people who have new profiles or new to groups! Always do your research and ALWAYS ask to see the goats in person or ask for a video, even if you don't plan to see them in person. A scammer will always ask you for a deposit, even to just come see the goat in person.

We also do NOT sell under any other name or profile. Anything that we post that is goat related, will be posted on this page only. I do share posts from this page from my main profile (Shawnee Lee Scott) but I never post directly from that profile or any other profile.

He was bred by a client from an outside doe and our buck... we liked him so much, we had to have him.

I've had several people inquire about live coverage to BDLF BOERDERLINE'S DECISION MADE but were to far away to drive here and asked about semen. I've also had inquires about semen but we aren't releasing any straws on him at this time, however I do believe that Judd York does have straws available on him!

And with this baby, we are finally done with March kidding. Just a few more due in mid April!

A single black dapple doeling who weighed 9lbs!sc***um.

So far these are the percentages for this spring kidding:

Average birth weight was 8 lbs.

I'm not sure if everyone remembers our huge black traditional buck we used in the fall of 2022, but two of his daughters we retained kidded for the first time in the last 24 hours!

First one had a huge solid black buckling (9.65 lbs) and a red spotted doeling (8.02 lbs).

The second one had a big single black traditional doeling (9.48) that was positioned incorrectly so I had to assist her. The best part was this does dam was in the kidding pen right beside her (due to kid tomorrow) watching over as her daughter give birth (they are always together!) 🥰

Two days old and getting her legs figured out. Playing babies are my favorite part of raising goats! 🥰

I had some requests for a recent video of STONE-LEADY KRONWALLED on the move to see how he travels. This is a short one that I took today. We love this big guy. We are a bit partial, but we truly think he is one of the best solid black bucks in the country! He is not on any special feeding program. Just free choice alfalfa and one 3 quart scoop of grower pellets every other day. M Our first kids sired by him are due in less than 10 days! 🤩 I cannot wait to retain some of his does to cross back on with RRD AMERICAN DREAM (RRD PATRIOT *EN son). He was a buck we owned back in 2012 that was phenotypically identical to KRONWALLED but solid red!

It makes for a VERY long night when two does decide to kid at 2 am.... TLCD LUCKY LAVEAU (LK7 LUCKY DOG *EN granddaughter) had twin black traditional bucklings. 4-L BOER GOATS RED RYDER (RM 1515 CHEWIE *EN daughter) had a black traditional buckling and solid red buckling. With these guys, we are officially 50:50 on bucklings and doelings. We have one doe left to kid this fall. Maybe she will be the tie breaker!

I've had a few people ask what our does look like. Here is a video from today. We currently have 9 breeding age does that we will be breeding for 2023 babies. We have a very small herd but believe in quality over quantity. All the does will be bred to HCBGF INDIANA'S SUSIE SAMPSON this year. These girls are in pasture condition. Absolutely zero grain of any sort, just an MLS goat tub, mineral, and good pasture. I don't believe in having "show fat" brood does. I prefer healthy, productive does. 🤷‍♀️
