incorporated in the State of Idaho. Located in Kuna, ID, the sanctuary provides a permanent loving home for all types of rescued backyard farm animals. We make sure that they live out their entire lives in peace at the sanctuary, where they are treated with the kindness and respect they deserve. Our mission is to provide shelter, food, care and

protection for the animals in our custody. Also, through farm tours and via social media, we give the animals a voice to tell the public their stories. Dominifarm’s rescued animals function as ambassadors so visitors and/or viewers can watch their daily lives, get to know each animal, and gain an appreciation for their species. DOMINIFARM:

-Welcomes public, private, group, organization, school, and corporate visitors, by appointment only. Private tours are by donation, suggested at $25/hour for up to four people.
-Provides people with special needs the opportunity to interact with socialized animals as a form of therapy and rehabilitation. WAYS YOU CAN SUPPORT US:

Pumpkin, one of our oldest guinea pigs, has lost her sight, yet she manages really well despite her disability. Her guinea pig family continually provide support, keeping her safe, engaging in play, and sharing food. As social animals, guinea pigs and rabbits can only thrive in the company of others. To satisfy their need for social interaction, they must be housed in pairs or groups. Our little herd is particularly endearing, greeting us with joyful whistling during meal times. With an average lifespan of five to seven years, our only wish would be that they could live forever. ♥️🐹🐰

Since she lost her mate three years ago, Spunky has been mourning her loss by carefully guarding her heart and distancing herself from other pigs. It's different with Vinny; she welcomes his presence and even visits his pen. Justin volunteers with us on Mondays. Monday is a particularly busy day for us, as we sort through dozens of boxes of fresh produce after completing our chores. Our shift is highly organized and efficient, with each individual assigned to a specific task, such as feeding, watering, administering special food or medication, or scooping p**p. It requires a dedicated team of passionate individuals like Justin to provide rescued animals with the care and happy life they deserve. We extend our gratitude to all our remarkable volunteers, who are the backbone of our sanctuary.❤️🐾

Peanut would love to be part of the cow herd, but his diminutive stature and back issues prevent him from interacting with the larger animals. A custom enclosure was built for him in the front pasture; however, it's farther away from the cow field, and he immediately vocalized his distress due to separation from his bovine companions. In accordance with our animal-centric approach, the original enclosure will be repurposed for the sheep, who also require a secure space, while Peanut will be relocated to a custom pen adjacent to the cow field, complete with a little house.

Finn is only 8 years old, yet he has been bravely battling acute laminitis since he was surrendered to the sanctuary two years ago. Laminitis is a painful disease comparable to human gout. When his condition became critical, requiring a heartbreaking consideration of euthanasia, we refused to give up on him. Instead, we persevered, committed to a diligent regimen of soaking his hay twice daily to minimize sugar content, supplementing his diet with essential minerals, and maintaining regular hoof care. Over the past four months, Finn has made tremendous progress, no longer limping or laying down in pain, and now stands tall with pride. While laminitis is an incurable, lifelong condition, we're determined to manage it through unwavering care and a strict dietary plan. Whatever it takes, we'll forever be devoted to his well-being.♥️🐴

Since Lord Buck's last veterinary visit, he has been confined to a solitary pen to monitor his health and prevent bullying during feeding time. Due to his advanced age and dental issues, he requires a quiet environment to eat properly. Although he appears to have gained some weight, he seems miserable in isolation. Despite being able to see and communicate with his friends in the adjacent pen, he misses physical contact with them. We are considering housing Peggy with him, as she is also being bullied by the rest of the herd, they could be a great match ♥️🐐🐐

Like us, animals experience pain and mourn their loved ones, yet we are inspired by their capacity to adjust and heal. Everyone on the farm knows that Parker has my heart. I mean, look at this face. He’s incredibly handsome. And he’s a true gentleman too. Like every year, his prior mom came all the way from a far distance to visit him. He probably got his good manners and kind dispositions from her, because she’s a wonderful, caring and loving person.
