incorporated in the State of Idaho. Located in Kuna, ID, the sanctuary provides a permanent loving home for all types of rescued backyard farm animals. We make sure that they live out their entire lives in peace at the sanctuary, where they are treated with the kindness and respect they deserve. Our mission is to provide shelter, food, care and

protection for the animals in our custody. Also, through farm tours and via social media, we give the animals a voice to tell the public their stories. Dominifarm’s rescued animals function as ambassadors so visitors and/or viewers can watch their daily lives, get to know each animal, and gain an appreciation for their species. DOMINIFARM:

-Welcomes public, private, group, organization, school, and corporate visitors, by appointment only. Private tours are by donation, suggested at $25/hour for up to four people.
-Provides people with special needs the opportunity to interact with socialized animals as a form of therapy and rehabilitation. WAYS YOU CAN SUPPORT US:

Did you know that we go through 2,000 bales of hay and 728 bags of grains to feed our residents twice a day, 365 days a year? Our expenses also include farrier, shearer, and veterinary fees. Let's not forget water, power, and huge insurance bills to keep everyone safe and protected. This year was particularly challenging for us, as we couldn't welcome visitors and consequently lost our admission fee revenue due to zoning regulations requiring a paved parking lot for visitors. Dominifarm is a volunteer-based nonprofit organization; none of us get paid for the enormous amount of work needed to keep our rescue animals fed and happy. We do it purely out of love and dedication. We don't receive government funding and solely rely on the kindness and generosity of people like you to keep our mission going. Together, we have saved countless lives and given second chances to many unwanted, disabled, and abandoned local animals that we now call family. Thank you. ♥️🐾

Baby Ray may be blind, but he has the most charming sparkle in his eye – or rather, a permanent blink. He loves frolicking around with his pasture pals and spreading love and joy wherever he goes. His incredible sixth sense prevents him from bumping into anything. Did I mention that he is also breathtakingly handsome? He has us all wrapped around his little hoof.

Due to an influx of volunteer applications from well-intentioned applicants who underestimate the substantial workload and commitment involved in caring for farm animals, we are now exclusively seeking applicants who possess prior experience in caring for farmed animals or demonstrate a strong aptitude for this type of work. Prospective volunteers must be physically capable of lifting heavy bales of hay and 50-pound bags of food, scooping manure, walking the fields multiple times to monitor animal well-being, and performing tasks essential to providing food, water, and maintaining clean living quarters. Our adorable Norma Jean is thriving. Abandoned by her mom at birth, she was incredibly tiny and weak, yet she had a will to live. She couldn't walk for the first two weeks and didn't flourish for months. Looking at her now, vibrant, joyful, and playing with her best friends, Odie the piglet and Ray the goat, you would never know the difficult journey she overcame one step at a time. Beware of the heart thief! Nacho's irresistible cuteness has stolen our hearts. Abandoned on a vacant property and left to face an uncertain fate, he was rescued by a compassionate woman who couldn't keep him. To our immense delight, he found his way to us. He's an old donkey who has been part of the Dominifarm family for years now. Since the first time I laid eyes on him, he has captured my heart, and every time I hear him bray, his he-haws are sweet melodies of love that uplift my spirits and reinforce my motivation to save more unwanted animals like him, inspiring us to make a difference in the lives of those who need it most. ♥️🐴 Your support is what keeps us going. 🙏

Like many domestic ducks, Mina and Drakula were dumped in a pond in Meridian. Due to their heavy weight and color, Pekin ducks are not equipped to survive in the wild. Thankfully, good Samaritans rescued them and one of our neighbors adopted them, but the drake, Count Drakula, kept chasing and attacking the chickens and duck hens. After he injured one of the chickens, he had to find a new home. Fortunately, the duo found a haven at Dominifarm.
