Dominifarm

Dominifarm 📍Dominifarm is an Assisted Loving Community for retired, unwanted & disabled farm animals. 🐖🐑🐄🦃🐇♥️🐾 -Dominifarm Animal Sanctuary, Inc.

is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization EIN # 86-3996669
incorporated in the State of Idaho. Located in Kuna, ID, the sanctuary provides a permanent loving home for all types of rescued backyard farm animals. We make sure that they live out their entire lives in peace at the sanctuary, where they are treated with the kindness and respect they deserve. Our mission is to provide shelter, food, care and

protection for the animals in our custody. Also, through farm tours and via social media, we give the animals a voice to tell the public their stories. Dominifarm’s rescued animals function as ambassadors so visitors and/or viewers can watch their daily lives, get to know each animal, and gain an appreciation for their species. DOMINIFARM:

-Welcomes public, private, group, organization, school, and corporate visitors, by appointment only. Private tours are by donation, suggested at $25/hour for up to four people.
-Provides people with special needs the opportunity to interact with socialized animals as a form of therapy and rehabilitation. WAYS YOU CAN SUPPORT US:

Don't let Beau's playful nature fool you - he's a Highland steer with a gentle giant persona. At the sanctuary, we provide our farm animals with the care, nutrition, and love they deserve. However, we also prioritize safety and set crucial boundaries to prevent accidents. By treating Beau with respect and caution, we can enjoy his loving personality while ensuring a safe environment for everyone. ♥️🐂

A mother's love knows no bounds - not even when her little one has massive horns and weighs 1700 pounds. Since I helped bring him into the world, adopted him, and bottle-fed him after his mom rejected him, Beau will forever be my baby.♥️🐂

As chickens get older, they start to slow down, just like people do. A hen's egg production peaks in her first year of laying, then gradually decreases each year until retirement. Sadly, most birds don't get to enjoy their golden years. At our sanctuary, we provide a haven for retired farm animals, giving them a happy, pampered life. ♥️🐓Please note that we’re overwhelmed with rooster surrender requests and can’t accept any more.

Lord Buck can't get over the idea that he looks undignified wrapped in his ridiculously cute farm-themed blanket, but we think he looks as dashing and poised as ever.

Dear Treasure Valley community, we extend our sincerest gratitude for your encouragement, support, and empowerment throughout 2025. Together, we achieved remarkable outcomes for the 122 animals in our care this year. With appreciation and gratitude from all the lives you touched and the hearts we healed at Dominifarm. ♥️🐾

Nobody wanted her due to her age, but we gave her a home four years ago. She's been an inspiration ever since. Looking back, it's clear we saved each other. Love goes both ways. ♥️🐴

Our beautiful Sage was confined to the horse corral due to a bad limp in her front left leg. At first, we thought she might have broken her leg, but since she could put weight on it, we knew there was no broken bone. The horse vet confirmed that it was sore feet, probably due to the extra moisture on the ground that made her hooves softer and more prone to bruising. Now that she's no longer sore, she's back in the field with her friends and is enjoying her freedom. Senior and special needs animals need more monitoring and veterinary care, but they are so worth it. As long as special care is manageable, older and handicapped animals deserve a second chance at life. ♥️🐴

Farm life is not without its challenges, and mud is certainly one of them. The recent heavy rainfall has required us to move some of our animals to higher, drier ground. While the sheep, goats, and emus have been spending more time in their shelters and greenhouse, our newest addition, a blind lamb named Burrito, had to be temporarily relocated to the quarantine shed after her pen flooded. She is now rooming with Topaz the cat. This kind of weather is unusual for this time of year, which is usually marked by subzero temperatures and frozen ground. animalsanctuary

Animals don’t stop being sick on Christmas Day. We had a huge fright yesterday morning when we found Lady Gaga lying down lifeless in the mud. She was weak, obviously in pain, and had a hard time standing up. Luckily for us, we have the best, most knowledgeable horse neighbor around, and she kindly came immediately to the rescue. Thank you, Tracy, for saving Lady Gaga’s life on Christmas Day; it was our most precious gift. ♥️🐴
We extend our gratitude to our volunteers Connor and Jeff, who were an incredible help walking our little horse to encourage gut movement and keeping her hydrated. It took a whole team and a lot of love to bring our little girl back to health. In the equine world, colic is a generic name for gastrointestinal issues, and it’s the biggest horse killer. Fortunately, Lady Gaga has recovered from her ordeal and had a clear bill of health today from Val, our amazing horse vet. https://dominifarmsanctuary.com/
