incorporated in the State of Idaho. Located in Kuna, ID, the sanctuary provides a permanent loving home for all types of rescued backyard farm animals. We make sure that they live out their entire lives in peace at the sanctuary, where they are treated with the kindness and respect they deserve. Our mission is to provide shelter, food, care and

protection for the animals in our custody. Also, through farm tours and via social media, we give the animals a voice to tell the public their stories. Dominifarm’s rescued animals function as ambassadors so visitors and/or viewers can watch their daily lives, get to know each animal, and gain an appreciation for their species. DOMINIFARM:

-Welcomes public, private, group, organization, school, and corporate visitors, by appointment only. Private tours are by donation, suggested at $25/hour for up to four people.
-Provides people with special needs the opportunity to interact with socialized animals as a form of therapy and rehabilitation. WAYS YOU CAN SUPPORT US:

Every morning, our residents come to the gate, patiently waiting for it to open. They know that a bighearted volunteer will be there to care for them. The volunteers feed them and clean up after them every day, expecting nothing in return – just out of love and compassion. These precious lives, often overlooked and neglected, have found a huge ray of hope here at Dominifarm, knowing that today, once again, they won’t be forgotten. In a world where abandoned farm animals are too often ignored, volunteers are kindhearted people who make a difference. God bless those who make the world a little softer, a little better. Sage is going on 31. She belonged to the same owner for 27 years and has always been loved and well taken care of. The boarding facility where she used to live increased their rates so much that Sage's owner couldn't afford to pay them anymore. She wrote a long letter to us explaining the situation. As one of our senior ponies had just passed away, we had room for an extra horse. It was fate in action. Sage's mom never gave up on her; her horse is family, and she's still very involved in her life. For an animal, getting older shouldn't have to mean the end. Sage proves that, given a chance, with the right environment and support, animals can continue to live fulfilling lives even in their golden years. I'm Beau, a steer at Dominifarm sanctuary, and I'm feeling grateful! Steers like me aren't usually given the chance to live life to the fullest, but I'm loving every moment here. To keep Mae 🐇 and her friends happy and healthy during winter, we must provide them with protective shelters, an abundance of straw for warm bedding, high-quality hay, and nutritious pellets to keep their bellies full, fresh vegetables, and mineral blocks for their optimal nutritional balance. Rabbits and guinea pigs are resilient in the cold, but they must be safeguarded from drafts and rain; this is why we are going to tarp all the aviaries. Hi friends, we are seeking handcrafted items and homemade baked goods donations to brighten our Christmas market fundraiser at Cathedral of the Rockies, sharing love and compassion in our community. 🎅🎄 We will be hosting the event on Saturday, November 15 from 11 am to 3 pm and Sunday, November 16 from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm at Cathedral of the Rockies Boise First United Methodist Church, 717 N 11th St, Boise.

Jack the Blacknose sheep and Buddy the Babydoll sheep were raised together. As their prior owner needed to find a safe place for them, we took them in last July. Since then, they have adapted very well to their new life at the sanctuary. Animals that arrive in pairs always experience a smoother transition and rapidly feel at home. Hugo is such a laid-back cat that we're always surprised when he bullies other cats and chases them away. We wish we could add more felines to our mice patrol, but he's the one setting the rules. We're glad he doesn't mind Topaz, who has been with us for more than a month. We quarantined her in a safe area that she now uses as her catio. It was a perfect way for her to get acclimated to a new place and meet the farm residents. Goocifer and his new mate are having a romantic date without the goslings. He was devastated by the loss of his first love, but he's learning to love again and be a stepdad for the first time.
