Dominifarm Dominifarm is an Assisted Loving Community for retired, unwanted & disabled farm animals. 🐖🐑🐄🦃🐇 -Dominifarm Animal Sanctuary, Inc.

is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization EIN # 86-3996669
incorporated in the State of Idaho. Located in Kuna, ID, the sanctuary provides a permanent loving home for all types of rescued backyard farm animals. We make sure that they live out their entire lives in peace at the sanctuary, where they are treated with the kindness and respect they deserve. Our mission is to provide shelter, food, care and

protection for the animals in our custody. Also, through farm tours and via social media, we give the animals a voice to tell the public their stories. Dominifarm’s rescued animals function as ambassadors so visitors and/or viewers can watch their daily lives, get to know each animal, and gain an appreciation for their species. DOMINIFARM:

-Welcomes public, private, group, organization, school, and corporate visitors, by appointment only. Private tours are by donation, suggested at $25/hour for up to four people.
-Provides people with special needs the opportunity to interact with socialized animals as a form of therapy and rehabilitation. WAYS YOU CAN SUPPORT US:

cockadoodledoo! I'm Football, the wonky rooster with a remarkable story. As a young cockerel, I was rescued by a family after being carelessly thrown into their backyard, which resulted in permanent brain damage. Despite initial concerns about my well-being and behavior, I thrived and became a gentle giant. However, due to neighborhood regulations and winter concerns, my family had to find a new home for me. Fortunately, Dominifarm offered a forever loving environment for a special-needs rooster like myself, ensuring my safety and happiness. I am one of the very few fortunate roosters with a happy ending. Sadly, roosters are among the most challenging animals to rescue, primarily due to the lack of safe and suitable homes. Dominifarm receives multiple daily inquiries about roosters in need, but unfortunately, the sanctuary is unable to accommodate them due to capacity constraints and a lengthy waiting list.

Escape artist caught red handed, or should I say red snouted. 🐽 Pua is the Houdini of pigs. She has escaped many times before coming to Dominifarm, which is one of the main reasons she ended up at the sanctuary. She is so strong that she can push, lift, break, and go through most fences. She's also extremely intelligent, which makes it even harder to contain her. Pua loves the goats and is happily living with them. She's very dominant towards other pigs and hasn't found any she likes yet, so she'll bully them and chase them away anytime she's around them. With humans and any other animals on the farm, she's just the sweetest love bug, always craving affection. Her favorite activities are snuggling with her caretakers, mud bathing, napping, and eating bananas. She's a very vocal and chatty pig. We admire her bold, joyful, and confident personality and will do anything to keep her forever safe and content at Dominifarm.

Lulu is a 11-year-old blue heeler. She has had trust and anxiety issues since we adopted her. She was unfriendly and kept running away in her previous life, which is why her two previous owners labeled her a "difficult dog." Home number three was her lucky charm. Having become so used to abandonment and rejection, it took her a long time to bond with me. I gave her all the time she needed, and little by little, she has learned to accept and love me. She has been the sanctuary’s dog since the beginning, and she knows she is safe in her forever loving home. She follows me like a shadow on the farm. She takes her guardian role very seriously and is very protective of her family and animal friends. She is an excellent barker and a terrible heeler; I would prefer it the other way, but I don't mind. She is kind, loyal, loving, and a great companion. That's all that matters! We adore you, Lulu! 💕🐕

Maesa, a 42-year-old mule, has been with us since July 2022, and we are deeply grateful for her presence in our lives. Before we adopted her, she had been well taken care of, but her circumstances had changed, and she ended up being boarded in a local horse boarding facility that was not a good fit for sweet and sensitive Maesa. She felt neglected, and the other horses kept bullying her at feeding time. With only half of her teeth left, it takes her twice as long to chew, and as a result, she never got enough food; she was underweight and becoming increasingly depressed. Prior to contacting Dominifarm, her owner had tried hard to find a new family for Maesa, but no one else was interested in a geriatric mule except us. At Dominifarm, we are committed to providing her with a second chance at life, filled with love, care, and compassion. She may live a few months or a few years, but for the time she has left, we'll give her the best life we can offer her. ❤️🐴

UPDATE ON OUR CHRISTMAS TRUCK. Your kindness never ceases to uplift us!!! Thanks to your extraordinary generosity, we have successfully reached our $3,500 goal for a used farm truck. We even have a little extra to pay for registration, title, and sales tax. I thought it was a Ford but it’s a Dodge. One owner, meticulously maintained and it comes with a shell, which is a truly wonderful bonus. The owner is taking it to the shop for a final repair before we take possession of it. It could need a paint job but the animals don’t care, and it’s exactly what we need to run farm errands.♥️🎄🐾🐴🐑🐇

Finn, our adorable 14-year-old miniature horse, requires a special diet and cannot be on pasture due to recurring laminitis flare-ups. Laminitis is a very painful chronic condition. As a result, his previous owners had to separate him from their other horses, which became increasingly difficult for Finn who longed for social interaction and a herd environment. He needed a safe place where he could thrive on a dry lot with a tailored diet. His family knew about Dominifarm from visiting the sanctuary. When rehoming Finn, they contacted us to explain his situation, and he was added to our long waiting list before his permanent adoption. Finn has been with us since April and he has conquered our hearts with his sweet personality. We love him dearly and want to make his life as comfortable as we can. ♥️🐴

Pegleg and Priscilla were surrendered to the sanctuary because their owner was moving and couldn't take them. She had lovingly raised them from birth and was very concerned about their fate. This bonded mother-son pair had never been separated; Priscilla is 20 years old, and Pegleg is four. Despite his father having severed his leg in an attack when he was a peachick, Pegleg has adapted to hopping on one leg and is otherwise healthy and handsome. Last semester, BSU students from the biomedical engineering school used Pegleg as a model to design 3D leg prototypes, which was a fantastic opportunity for them to work on a real patient instead of theoretically.

Our adorable pigs are very curious and love to be in the midst of things. As soon as they saw me bring the fresh straw bedding from afar, they ran to the little house to ‘help’. Moo asserts dominance over the smaller pigs and regularly try to challenge mine; since he’ll grow to 600-800 pounds, it’s crucial he learns respect and good manners while still manageable. Denise adopted Parker at 3 years old and cherished him for 4 years before her life circumstances changed and she had to rehome him. She contacted all sanctuaries in and around her state, including Dominifarm, but they were full. We kept her heartfelt surrender letter and put Parker on our waiting list. Six months later, after one of our pigs passed, we welcomed Parker. Denise drove 11 hours to deliver him, heartbroken despite knowing it was best for him. Two years on, Parker thrives with us, and Denise remains deeply involved, regularly visiting despite the long trip, inquiring about his well-being, and sponsoring him.
