Dr. Michael Wheeler is a traveling veterinarian serving Heart + Paw hospitals in New York, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Maryland, New Jersey and Connecticut. With experience in general practice in Prince Edward Island, Canada and Urgent Care in New Jersey, he brings a well-rounded clinical background to his work. Dr. Wheeler is passionate about animal health and giving back through volunteer work with nonprofit organizations. He enjoys combining his veterinary expertise with his love of flying and travel.

💙 One of our clients recently rescued this sweet kitty and he is looking for a home. Hes estimated 2-3 years old. Neutered and up to date on rabies. Sweet and good natured. Dr. Kaleigh Flock graduated from Iowa State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2020. She has experience working as a Small Animal General Practitioner, Hospice Veterinarian and Supervisory Public Health Veterinarian for the USDA Food Safety Inspection Service. Her clinical interests include surgery, dentistry, preventative medicine and geriatric medicine. In her free time, she enjoys walking, hiking and kayaking with her husband and three dogs; Churro, Violet, and Ramble. She is also a musician and plays the guitar and clarinet. Dr Flock is excited to join the Homestead Veterinary Center team.
