Somebody's having a birthday this month!

Princess Cinderella in the DFW Area will be turning 1 on the 27th. She loves attention, adores kids, and is currently living with several other pups of various sizes and two cats.
This gal is super friendly and would be a wonderful addition to any family.

Good Morning Pyr Community!

If you're looking for a copilot to zip around town with you or a pup to observe you while you work in the yard, Eggnog may be what you're looking for.
He has an incredibly sweet personality and loves making friends. He is a little more than a year and a half and has even befriended a neighbor horse. He loves being in the company of humans and will greet you at the door with a hard wagging tail and may jump a little as he gets a good sniff of where you were during the day.

"Check me out, I'm a little over 2 months and very curious. I'm confident, have cute markings, and am fostered in the DFW Area."

Mittens is a Pyr/Australian Shepherd mix. She was found earlier this month with two siblings in a very rural area in Dallas. None of the pups had identification tags or chips, but luck was with them. A kind Samaritan who has worked with TGPR before, scooped them up, brought them home and contacted us.

Good Morning Pyr Community!

Whether you celebrate or not, we hope y'all had a wonderful day yesterday! Despite the festivities, eating, and taking pictures galore, our Area Coordinators were still working behind the scenes.

Our new intake; this little boy is in the DFW Area and about 8 weeks old. The vet who examined him believes he is a Pyr/Anatolian mix.

We are still working on a name, stay tuned for updates.

Who doesn't love feeling fresh air and a cool breeze tickling their whiskers?
An'drama'da in the DFW Area is almost 2 and was found lying on the side of the road with injuries last month. She had no chip or identification tags and TGPR was contacted for help.
She is healing from a fractured leg and feeling better each day.

Has everyone seen Big Boi in our Austin Area?

This guy is our everything pup! He is around 2 years old and enjoys every day to its fullest. It doesn't matter if he's chilling in the front yard, riding in a car, walking on the beach, or exploring a nature path. Whatever you throw at him, he will love. He does have a strong desire to roam, so we recommend a fence that is solid.

Everyone he meets adores him and bonus.......he is good with cats, other dogs and kids.

If y'all remember, this boy came into rescue in September and needed surgery on his jaw. He was adopted a few weeks ago and is now living his best life with pyr siblings and a favorite human.

Ted's been with us a few weeks now, acclimating to his foster's home and TGPR care.

He's a pretty solid guy with a gorgeous coat and a big head that is always ready for pets! He doesn't mind other dogs or cats and has a gentle disposition. His favorite thing to do is be with people and would love a home where his family would be home all day.

After many months of fostering, her temporary people have decided to make her an official part of their family!🐾😊🐾

Leia is of senior age, around 9 years old and we are thrilled she will get to live out her golden years with a wonderful family!

DFW Foster Boogey Woogey is all set for the holidays! This gorgeous beast of a boy is about 150 lbs and around 6 years old. He would love a home that would allow him to nap on the couch all day and snuggle with humans.

But...Boogey is very dog selective and has requested he be in a single dog home.

Our Austin Sooner Sadie gal........ready set roll over!

Sadie is a little over a year old and loves to play outside. She is very social and friendly, but needs to work on her manners. She still likes to chew on things that don't belong to her and therefore, her future home must be puppy proofed.
Her ideal home would include children a bit older than six and a backyard where she can play in.

TGPR foster Oswald is still in search of his furever home!

He is the biggest sweetheart and cuddle bug. He loves to have his belly rubbed and even smiles with pleasure. He gets along well with other dogs, even the resident cat!! He gets free reign of the house while his fosters are at work and he has never had an accident.

"Why yes I'll pose by this lovely tree behind me for a photo op."

Rhae is brand new to TGPR and only about a year old. She has a lovely temperament, enjoys long walks, and is a big fan of testing new dog toys. Sadly, her family was dealing with some health issues and contacted TGPR for help.
She is not a hobby farm dog, not has she been cat tested, but she does share her backyard with five hens and doesn't mind them.

Just look at our Houston foster Neo! This guy is always smiling and is not one to rush through life. He loves daily walks, lounging inside with his foster, and feeling the sun on his face. He's around 2 years old, neutered, and up to date on all vaccinations. He has a friendly demeanor and would not mind sharing a home with cats, kids, and other dogs.

Gabe is the six month old male puppy who was thrown from a truck in a garbage bag a few weeks back. Fortunately he did not develop parvo like his sisters did 🙌 He has been coming out of his shell and has shown no aggression.
