As temperatures are climbing into the triple digits, it is important to keep your fur babies out of this heat.
The pavement gets hot too - it is not a bad idea to put mid day walks on pause until it cools down.

Guess what week it is??
While fireworks are pretty to watch, they can also be terrifying for our little ones.
While hotdogs and hamburgers are yummy to eat, they can cause serious issues for our fur babies.
Temperatures are continuing to climb so make sure to keep those babies cool and hydrated!

Should you need any anxiety medications filled for Thursday make sure to give us a call before 12pm on Wednesday!!
Be safe this holiday!

It is no secret that it is starting to heat up in Texas.
We urge you all to not forget that our fur babies feel the affects of the heat too!
Take caution when taking them out for walks or letting them outside for play time.

Meet Sugar!!
She is our adorable pet of the month for many reasons - she is recovering from a rattlesnake bite and has been the sweetest soul throughout all of her treatments. Despite the pain, her tail has never stopped wagging. She never fails to light up any room she walks in to.
We love Sugar so much and just like her mom said "she makes everyone feel happy and loved".

Meet our March PET OF THE MONTH - PEPPER!

Pepper is the Queen! She rules the house and everyone in it with her sweet but sassy personality. Her favorite things to do are taking long naps, snacks, and chasing off and barking at her brother Squeeky the cat. She LOVES meeting new people and getting lots of pets and b***y rubs!

Pepper has been coming to Deep Roots for a few years now and never fails to put a smile on our face.
We LOVE Miss Pepper and are grateful to have her and family as a part of ours

December Pet Of The Month:

Meet Shadow,
Shadow was a rescue cat from California. Shadow loves to tell everyone how he’s feeling vocally and always wants to be the center of attention. This past Halloween he greeted tricker treaters and took part in the holiday. He shows his affection through head bumps and laying on your chest.

One of his favorite things to do is go for a walk. Yep, he actually will wear a walking vest and stroll around the neighborhood.

Shadow likes to meow-chirp and make friends with birds in the backyard. When his bird friends are gone, he prefers to layout and work on his fur tan in the summer time. During the colder months he turns into a couch-potato and watches tv with his family.
