The Model Horse Store at Chilao School New in Box Breyer model horses, vintage Breyer models, custom models and performance accessories, be Kit (AKA Kitten Little) was a gift from Denise Doyle.

The Model Horse Store at Chilao School is operated by Redbird, a Native American and environmental non profit association which also owns and operates Chilao School. The school has given us the freedom to explore arts, culture, life skills, healing arts and environmental programs. We host the annual Models in the Mountains live show and model enthusiasts' retreat at Chilao School, which is situate

d in the heart of the Angeles National Forest. Although we are not an animal rescue per se, four out of five of our fur kids are rescues. Our most recent rescue is Koda, a female German Shepherd who is a bit accident prone. When she heals from her most recent adventures, she'll be getting a hip replacement. That will cost many, many horses. So check back often...we'll be listing pretty much anything we can get our hands on to pay for her surgery.

We've got a mustang mare and foal looking for a new home, and a sneak peak at something that is not a custom Breyer.

As for Tiger Lily and Firestorm, the foal is flawless. The mare has a flaw on her neck, visible in this image. Other than that crease in the paint, she is very well done and I like her coat better than the Tiger Lily I am keeping. Except for that flaw on her neck, I love her. The problem with it is that when I am shooting our local bands of wild horses, I often get very up close and personal with those shots. In fact, that was how I noticed this little line on her neck. I'd like $200.00 for the pair, including shipping. The foal is LSQ, the mare is absolutely gorgeous and this is her only flaw. I'm going to be listing the pair on eBay in the next day or two.

Model Horse Peoples...The Collective 2024-2025 Show Season opens today with the OF Show: Original Finish Plastic, China, and a new division, Collectibility. Registration will be open until October 8 and horses can be added to their classes until 5 PM EST on October 11.

Our current divisions are OFP, AR, CM, CMG, Performance, Scene, and Collectibility. We have added additional classes to performance and scene.

There are a total of twelve qualifier shows in this year's series, culminating in a Championship Show with ribbons and prizes. Your entry fees are used to purchase prizes for the champ show. We have fantastic judges and the competition is keen. Learn more here:

Beowulf...if you asked for us to order one for you, we did. If you aren't sure whether or not you ordered one, please respond to this post and we'll look at the master list. As of today we do not have them hand. I am not aware if other dealers have them in hand yet. Perhaps they are being shipped to dealers this week. If we learn anything, we'll surely talk about it.

We're going to do a Breyer order to make sure we have some things in our eBay store for the holidays. These are Breyer's mid-year releases, which came out in the heat of Breyerfest. If you want to order a horse or horses from me let me know. Redbird/Chilao School is a Breyer dealer. Our pricing must be the same as Breyer's pricing; the difference is that purchasing through a dealer supports small business, or in this case, a small charity. The horses are in stock, and should come quickly.
