Keep outdoor exercise short, out of direct sun, and off of pavement/ asphalt. Look for signs of heat exhaustion and heat stroke.

Flint Creek Farm welcomes our new barn hunt rats! These critters are about 8 weeks old right now, and still learning the ropes of confidence. They have had a week to settle in and each of their personalities is starting to peak out. We will be offering barn hunt classes in the near future! Intro to the sport as well as practices for those who already play the game!

Interested in learning a new sport? Barn hunt is an excellent 'gate way' sport. This game teaches the handler and the dog how to work together while also engaging in natural hunting instincts. The rats are hidden, protected, around a hay bale course and the dog has a limited amount of time to alert to where the critter is hiding, tunnel through a hay bale structure, and climb. Hunting scent in tall grass can be incredibly challenging, but certainly entertaining to watch! Monroe is searching for a rat that has left a scent trail to it's location. The tall grass paired with the breeze has made it particularly difficult.

☀️Flint Creek Farm has open enrollment for doggy daycare! We are open M-Th 7:30-9am drop off and 4:30-6:30pm pick up☀️

We offer home-style daycare and boarding for your beloved furry family member. We are small scale, and are able to offer one-on-one and small play groups! We send daily photos of your pup! Dogs have access to a large grassy yard, no concrete!

Unfortunately the play yard is an ice rink today. We remain closed. Stay cozy and safe, it's a great time to teach your dog a new trick to keep you both busy today!
