Meet Hugo!!

This little guy is the sweetest dog and used to be great at nail trim day, then all of a sudden he dreaded it(nothing bad ever happended 😀).Every appointment we would try several things to make it easy and he would fight us. Last appointment his owner said I’ll put a thick jacket on and gloves, so if he tries to bite I’m protected.

So now every-time I visit, Hugo’s owner dresses for the winter and his mom talks about grandma and we get the job done. It’s all about working with the animal to make it stress free!

I had my first appointment with Socks this morning. When we first started he had no idea what we were doing, then slowly caught on that I was trimming his nails. Poor guy hated every moment and tried to wiggle out of it, but I went slow with him and eventually got it done.

Afterwards he was happy as could be and slowly forgot about the nail trim♥️.

I have been working with Darkwing for about 2.5 years now! Everytime I arrive at his house he is not thrilled it’s nail trim day, but he goes to his spot and lays down and lets me clip away ♥️.

Meet Charlie♥️!

Charlie’s owner adopted her around 8weeks of age and she is the happiest and sweetest girl, but like so many dogs has a fear of nail trims.

I had my first appt with her today and spent some time with her before the nail trim and she is a smart one, she just knew I was there to do her nails 🤣. Finally after a few runs around the house we were able to get her to sit still and I was able to get her nails done. She wiggled and didn’t love it, but she gave me the chance and was a happy girl after it was all done.

Meet Daisy♥️!

Daisy was rescued from a shelter about 3 years ago. She didn’t have the best living situation in her past and has a lot of fears, especially nail trims. I had my first appt with her today, and she was very uncomfortable at first, so her owner and I tried several ways to make her comfortable. Finally we found the perfect spot and she let me get after her nails!

I look forward to getting her more and more comfortable with every visit😊.

Snicker’s owners contacted me a few weeks ago in hopes I could help their sweet pup with a nail trim because they said he can be a “stinker” for it.

Things went very well at his home today, we did have to use a “party hat” and he wiggled but with lots of praise and patience he has short nails again. This picture was taken right after the trim and he was one happy boy♥️
