Lots of exciting things happening around here! 3 of my regular riders have gotten their own horses!!! I just know that they will all do great and meet or exceed the goals they have set for themselves.

Beautiful day to ride with these Rocking N Kids! It's so important to get out of the arena from time to time and put those skills we are learning to work. It's so good for the horses to take a nice walk in the woods a d fields and it good for us too to slow down to the pace of mother nature. 😀

I have room in the trailer for 1 more in the morning. Leaving at 9:30 sharp heading to Brownsville to trail ride on private property. Will be about a 2 hour ride and back about 3. Let me know if you want in!

Super fun evening Coulee Region Riders Club in Holmen tonight. So great to have a low key place to ride gain confidence and season kids and horses. Great crowd of spectators who cheered everyone on and encouraged nervous young Riders. Felt like coming home tonight, so welcoming. Here's the 3 in a line run from thr Rocking N Kids who went tonight.

Actually, we had to buy 2... at 1st... but boy did they teach my girls some valuable lessons.

“It Came With the Horse”

We bought a horse.

Yes, we bought a horse for something fun to do
BUT…
He came with chores.
Chores every morning and night.

He came with stubbornness and attitude that challenges little minds to grow and think on the fly.

He came with hair to be brushed, a tail to be braided and hooves to be picked out.

He came with responsibility to practice.
Practice daily. Practice weekly. JUST Practice.

HE CAME AS A TEACHER.
Teaching daily responsibly.
Teaching persistence.
Teaching courage.
Teaching trust is earned.
Teaching strength and respect of personal space.
Teaching love.
Teaching friendship.
Teaching happiness.

*Growing Up* came with the horse.

The final Gymkahna of the Triple R season last night and these kids are so fun to watch! I'm so proud of them, how they conduct themselves at shows and in practice, the confidence and skills they've gained throughout the summer is evident. They all laid down nice runs last night and most placed well. It's been a fun summer and I'm so blessed to be your coach! Next stop Houston County Fair next week!

Spent the day with the Rocking N show kids today, what fun! Everyone has improved! Kendall rode Monty today who proved he can just do anything (the jump was a bit scary, bit otherwise he was a gem). Confidence boosted on all riders. As always, thank you R-B Riders for offering such a wonderful environment for these kids to hone their skills!
