Nyhus Stables & Training LLC Nyhus Stables and Training was founded in 2005 by Dave and Jo Ann Nyhus. We have 3 daughters, Jessica, Ashley, and Shannon.

Jessica is a Certified Riding Instructor through CHA. She currently gives lessons to beginner riders of all ages. Jessica works primarily with 4H kids and their horses. Ashley and Shannon both ride and have done training with their young horses from breeder Wendy Woldt. Nyhus Stables is a great place to board your horse or get involved in horses if its a hobby you have always wanted to try.

Not every 2 year old ends up quiet from day 1, dead lazy, more whoa than go, calm, with no care in the world. We got so lucky with Miss Ellis. She was broke out by a youth rider, Maclaine Heilman for her Senior Exit Project at West Salem High School. Easton decided riding with me wasn't too bad when I randomly threw him on Ellis, not knowing how she would respond to his lack of riding skills and flopping legs! She didn't seem to mind at all and took care of him pretty well! She will make someone an amazing horse! ❤️
