Nyhus Stables & Training LLC Nyhus Stables and Training was founded in 2005 by Dave and Jo Ann Nyhus. We have 3 daughters, Jessica, Ashley, and Shannon.

Jessica is a Certified Riding Instructor through CHA. She currently gives lessons to beginner riders of all ages. Jessica works primarily with 4H kids and their horses. Ashley and Shannon both ride and have done training with their young horses from breeder Wendy Woldt. Nyhus Stables is a great place to board your horse or get involved in horses if its a hobby you have always wanted to try.

These girls had an amazing trip to the WI State Horse Show in Milwaukee!!
They put in the hours and dedication and shined through the weekend!! Too Many Grands, Reserves, and Top 10's to keep track of!!
Most importantly, their sportsmanship and kindness to eachother and everyone around them is beyond measure and I could not be more proud of them!!! ❤️❤️❤️

Tonight’s speed show will still run as planned. It is supposed to stop raining by 1pm.

Parents: please let kids know to not “run” horses outside on the grass tonight as it will be slippery as well as tear up the grass. If we need to allow some additional warm up time in the arena we can adjust for that.

Remember we will have awards tonight for grand and reserve in each age group. The points are all so close tonight’s rides will determine our high point winners.

Thank you all for making the season a huge success.

Reminder to LAX county horse project kids there is a horse project meeting in the arena as well tonight at 5:30.

WWHSA shows are starting! As a reminder, if you are signed up for wwhsa under Nyhus Stables, you must help work at our shows and or obtain a sponsor for awards. I do have a list of all members signed up under our club. Speed shows start next Thursday. Pleasure show is Aug 25.
