***Floralia’s adoption fee has been sponsored by a generous donor in hopes of helping her find her forever home sooner!

Floralia is a 10 month old spayed female. She is current on her vaccinations and microchipped!

Meet Floralia! This golden-eyed gal is looking for a home that checks all her boxes: mellow, low- traffic home with a kitty friend and some fun toys! She’s lived with other super active kitties and felt overrun as they were stealing all her shine, so a low-key home is where she’d show her best self off. She loves to brush up against you and just be pet in general and will reward you with a heartwarming purr. This sweetie also loves a good wet food snack and some fun wand toys and laser lights! Because she can be shy and uncertain in new environments, for the first couple of days we recommend a confined, secluded area to decompress from the big lifestyle changes she is about to endure.

***Hazelnut is experiencing an Extended Stay with us! So, in hopes of helping her find her forever home sooner, her adoption fee has been reduced by 50% to only $30!

Hazelnut is a 3 year old spayed female who is up to date on her vaccines, microchipped, and FIV/FeLV negative!

Meet Hazelnut! She loves to take advantage of the prime snoozing hours and loves a good cat nap, but as soon as you go up to her kennel she’s up and at ‘em! She can be a social girl who loves some good pets, but she can also show her “tortitude” and can be a bit of a sass! I mean a girl wants what a girl wants and who can blame her?! Other than snoozing, she can be the typical kitty who loves to get that energy out via zoomies and her curiosity has her running all around!

Hazelnut with the proper introductions and reinforced proper interactions could do well with kiddos older than 8 years and preferably with lower energy dogs.

Sesame is a 6 month old, neutered male. He is up to date on vaccines and microchipped.

Sesame came to the shelter as a frightened guy who had no experience with people. After spending some time in a foster home, he has learned that people provide safety, food and yummy snacks!

While Sesame loves to play and will allow pets while he is eating, he is more comfortable with his feet firmly planted on the ground, meaning he does not appreciate a lot of body handling.

Sesame does have a big personality and is a very talkative boy though! He loves to chirp at his foster mom and demand his food! However, he will but will still require plenty of time to warm up to new people. He is still getting comfortable in big spaces and would prefer a quieter home that fits his low-key personality. He will need plenty of cozy hiding spaces in his new home for him to relax in when he is ready to venture out of his initial small starter spot.

Chun-Li is an Extended Stay Friend. Her adoption fee is $125, and she has been with us for over 7 months.

Chun-Li is a 7.5 year old female Pit bull who is fully vaccinated, microchipped, spayed, and currently weighing 66.5lbs.

She is a sweet old girl who’s the best of both worlds! She’s the perfect mix of calm and playful! Chun-Li walks nicely on a leash, making her a pleasant partner for leisurely strolls. While she may not be interested in toys, she never says no to treats or some good butt scratches. Chun-Li treasures the affection of her people above all else and is happiest when she’s close to you. If you’re looking for a gentle and loving companion who prefers quiet moments of togetherness over the hustle and bustle, Chun-Li is the perfect match for you!

**Here are some words from her foster family!***
“She has been absolutely flourishing here and has turned into a fairly active pup! We have been working on her stamina with walks with her joints in mind and are now up to about 1.5-2 miles at a time. Her joints don’t seem to bug her at all, she no longer has trouble hopping on the couch. She demands walks every day (it’s quite funny) and has a blast. We have loved fostering her again, she is a true queen!”

Thanks to a generous donation from the Andy and Connie Ziemelis Charitable Fund, Kola’s adoption fee has been sponsored by the Home Sweet Home Program!

Meet Kola, a sweet but timid tuxedo cat waiting for his forever home! Kola is a 7-month-old neutered male, current on his vaccinations, and microchipped.

Although I’m a bit shy at first, with a little time and lots of love, I’ll thrive in a new home. I really enjoy playing with my foster cat siblings—we have so much fun! When we’re all tuckered out, we snuggle up together for a cat nap. If I’m in the right mood, I’ll even curl up next to my human for some pets.

Loud noises still make me a little nervous, so I’d do best in a home with children aged 5 or older who can respect my space and understand that I might need some alone time occasionally. I absolutely love having my chin and back scratched, but the real way to my heart is through Delectables or Churu treats! My foster mom gives me treats every night, and it’s the highlight of my day.

Meet Mongongo, he is a 7-month-old neutered male, current on his vaccinations, and microchipped.

Mongongo will need plenty of time to adjust to a new home and is seeking a family that understands and respects his boundaries. While he’s not a fan of body handling and may never be a lap cat, he enjoys sitting by your feet, playing with his toys, and hanging out with his feline friends.

This shy guy startles easily with fast movements or loud noises, so he’s best suited for a calm, quiet home with a cat-savvy family. Mongongo would thrive in a household with older children (10 years or older) who won’t chase or scare him.

Mongongo is highly food-motivated and allows pets while eating, especially if Churu treats are involved! These treats are a fantastic way to build trust with him.

He is much more confident and outgoing when he has another feline friend by his side, so he must go to a home with at least one other cat. With slow and proper introductions, Mongongo may also do well with calm and respectful pets already in the home.
