Pretty big day for me. After my struggles in 2022/23 getting my croc skinks dialed in, it finally paid off. My first baby red eyed crocodile skink. Over the moon about this. Thanks and for guiding me on these guys! It's so easy to get down on your failures but the moments like this make it all worth it.

Picked up this Mount k male in 2022 as a baby from Alec Feldman. He's set to be a monster, the parents are the last 2 slides. He kept hitting the glass while I work, I thought he was being super cage aggressive, nope turns out he was hitting his own reflection, still sweet as can be, even decided to sleep on my shoulder. But he did get moved to a different spot, so hopefully the reflection isn't as strong.

The new black tree monitors are doing great. Voracious eaters and are already taking dubia put of a cup while I hold it. They absolutely crushed their quail on sunday. The male is way more shy than the female, but he's coming around.

Haven't posted in awhile. Been a tough month, lost my female prasinus on the 4th and have had a tough time since. Booger and the black tree monitors are doing well though. Not sure on her cause of death, I think maybe it was due to using teflon in the kitchen one room over. I've since moved them to a different room. New pickup today. Decided to get another pair of Beccarii. Healthy subadults. Hope to have these guys for a long time.
