VOLUNTEER SPOTLIGHT for Jessica! 🥰

You are about to meet the BEST dog cuddler around. Jessica comes to our head quarters once a week to help out at the front desk and is always up for taking a pup or two for a walk or giving them the snuggle time of their dreams.

Jessica grew up with rescued dogs, one being a very sweet nine-year-old Miniature Schnauzer named Antoinette which her parents adopted from a senior guardian who was no longer able to care for Antoinette due to her declining health. Jessica also rescued two Chis — Lucy and Frankie — and decided to volunteer for POMDR to help more pups like them land in loving homes.

For Jessica, the most rewarding part about volunteering at POMDR is "spending time with rescued dogs and becoming acquainted with their unique and wonderful personalities." Her favorite memories at POMDR include her parents' adoption of Miniature Schnauzer Grover in early 2023, our volunteer appreciation party, and the enthusiastic greetings by POMDR pup Hank. We know Hank loves his snuggle time with Jessica. She is just the best! (You may also spot her in a video or two with Hank. 🙂)
