It's been a big snow year up here! The horses are taking a winter break before the trail rides start up again in 2 months. All the horses are fat and sassy, enjoying lots of alfalfa hay. Say hi to the herd!

"Mountain Joe's! All the other operations are nose to tail one-mile rides (glorified pony rides), or the operators are just going through the motions. But riding with Mountain Joe is heaven! The horses are gorgeous, healthy and well-trained. Joe himself is a pleasure to ride with. He's happy to let you gallop if you want, or take your time. The terrain is beautiful--we were riding through ponderosa pines with snow-capped mountains in the distance. We didn't bump into a soul out there: just trees, birds, and a few wandering cows. And I loved riding his Tennessee Walker, Ringo--what a smooth gait! Organizing the ride was super easy, and the price was great. I'll be back, thanks for such a wonderful ride, Joe!"
