I'm so in love with Sassy's udder. I love how easy she is to milk and how soft her udder is. I'm also in awe at how much milk she has been giving us, almost 5 lbs right now. That's amazing genetics that hopefully she'll pass down to her daughter, Truffle and her son, Churro. (Both whom we've decided to keep.)
This is what you want, amazing genetics and from awesome milk lines. I never thought that we'd have a doe which produced so great on a first freshening. Makes me excited for when Truffle is old enough to breed, plus what Sassy may produce over the next few freshening's. Way to go Sassy!!
I definitely recommend Bresse Farms out of Mississippi for chicks. These little guys were hatched yesterday and showed up today. So cute π π

We've got a BIG problem now....
I don't know why more people don't make their own Jell-O. It's literally 2 ingredients and full of so much gut healing love, it'll have your gut happy in no time. It just might become your new favorite treat. π
A good way to keep your chickens warm during the cold weather...
Just a few things we no longer buy from the store...
