I'm looking forward to participating in the Claremont Pie Festival this coming Saturday, March 17, from 10:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. in the Claremont Village. My booth number is 205 and will be located on the north side of Second Street between Indian Hill and Oberlin. Dear Friends and Customers:

I have recently made the difficult decision to close my Claremont stand at Arrow Highway and Indian Hill for logistical reasons. I will continue to sell strawberries at my La Verne booth on "D" Street across from Bonita High School next to the Methodist Church.

I continue to grow strawberries in Claremont, and I may explore possibilities of selling at the Claremont Farmers Market and/or directly for local home delivery through online sales in the near future.

Stay tuned, and in the meantime, come visit my family and me at our La Verne booth!

To All of My Loyal Claremont Customers:

I thank you for your patience. The increased rainfall this season presented challenges and delays relative to harvesting enough strawberries to open my Claremont stand. However, I will officially be opening for business tomorrow, Tuesday, April 4 at 9:00 a.m. on the northeast corner of Arrow Highway and Indian Hill. The stand will be open daily until 5:00 p.m. or whenever we run out of strawberries.

I hope many of you will stop by to purchase the strawberries you have been waiting for. My family and I look forward to serving you soon!

Strawberry season will be ending shortly and my booths in Claremont and La Verne will be closing on July 31. This is the last call for locally grown strawberries for this season.

We open at 9 a.m. and close when our inventory is sold for the day so please come early and often.

Claremont's strawberry farmer, Adrian Vargas, is back in business in Claremont. He has opened a new stand on the northeast corner of Indian Hill Boulevard and Arrow Highway across from Peppertree Square. For those of you who have been missing his strawberries from Towne and Baseline, this is your chance to purchase them again.
