Due to Covid-19 contact tracing requirements our lobby will be closed to the public until Monday October 26th. ATTENTION CUSTOMERS! We will be closed July 3rd & 4th for the holiday. Any registration that is not expired can be renewed online. Also, all boat registrations expired 6/30! So don't forget to renew before heading out on the water for the holiday weekend! Be safe and have a great holiday!

WE ARE OPEN! We have placed plexiglass up between clerk's stations. We are limiting the lobby to one set of customers for each title clerk at a time. We are asking customers to wait in a line outside and have staff that are working the line for other renewal registrations and tab needs as well as assisting with other types of transactions. Thank you all for your understanding during this time.

Vessels more than 40-years old and over 35 feet in length (previously was 65 feet in length) will now be required to show proof of marine insurance at the time of ownership transfer or initial registration.

Rest in your nest and renew your registration online at DOL.wa.gov, pick MAIL and then from OUR location for same day processing. You may also still pick-up. Can't make it out to get your tabs? Hawks Prairie Auto and Boat Licensing can mail your tabs out to you...SAME DAY! Renew at dol.wa.gov and make sure you choose HAWKS PRAIRIE LICENSING as your selected office. (Not to be confused with Lacey Auto Licensing.) We will mail out your tabs to you same day!

We are open!! (Hawks Prairie Auto and Boat Licensing is privately owned)...no change in operations as of Saturday.

At this point; In state title transfers still have to be transferred within 15 days of the date of sale date and vehicle tab renewals still need to be done on or before their expiration date. You can renew your tabs Online at www.dol.wa.gov (we would love it if you chose our office 😁) tabs are always mailed out the SAME DAY if done before 4:00pm or, if you choose to pick them up at our office you can go through the “express” line inside as the tabs will be available immediately once you complete your transaction online.
