Alika had a c section last night. Everyone is home and recovering. We have 2 beautiful babies. My primary focus is to make sure both alika and her pups come out of anesthesia without any issues over the next 24 hours, to help pups nurse, and monitor them closely as well as alika for any post surgical issues that can arise. I know this is an exciting time for everyone. Reach out to me and I will get back to you when I am able. Here are the twins 🥰

Nakita at camp saturday night, we don't know how many days we have left together so we make the best of each day 💖
Dogs live in the moment. They don't regret the past or worry about the future. If we can learn to appreciate and focus on what's happening in the here and now, we'll experience a richness of living that other members of the animal kingdom enjoy❤️

Busy week ahead, waiting on alika's pups to make their appearance and belle started her heat and will be headed in this week to see the reproductive vet for her sound breeding exam, vaginal exam and cytology and progesterone baseline then breeding, so if you do not get a pup from alikas litter you will be moved to belle's litter for a pup. 💖 The sisters ❤️

No puppies today, vet wants to wait since her progesterone is 3.7, they like it under 2 if possible. We will monitor and go back to have levels checked tomorrow evening.

Cali came home tonight, she now sits with bear. But I know they are at the rainbow bridge playing together again. I also recieved this card in the mail from the vet team that loved her so much as well. As Dr. K put it she was a once in a lifetime dog. She truly was. 💖

We have had a busy week here, getting ready to meet alikas pups in a few days, plus we met with the reproductive vet after speaking with him we will be following his recommendations and are getting ready for our next breeding this month. 😀

Working on Ivy Rose's heel with distractions ( children running and playing at the playground and on the play structure) as well as listening to her handler regardless of who they are. In this case Mel who is 8 years old. No pulling and changing speeds of pace. Good job ladies!
