I got to take care of this handsome meatball on Saturday while his parents went out of town for a funeral. Max is sooo squishy and the most beautiful blue staffy 😍 and obviously so sweet and cuddly! Can’t wait til the next time I get to visit with him!

All week we’ve been taking care of Tedward (aka Teddy) the sheepadoodle and Benny the dachshund. Jimmy is sooooo in love with the dachshunds so he’s in his glory 😆 I love that Teddy gives me hugs the same way Boone used to 🥹 (miss you Boone!🩵) must be a sheepadoodle thing!

Buckets and Jack got a couple of visits from me and then a sleepover with Jimmy last weekend. They really are the sweetest boys that love to play catch 🩵

I’m sorry I have been so terrible about sharing friends this past week because I have been so consumed with our very pregnant foster mama, Minnie! She finally had her 6 babies on Halloween so I will catch up on posting our friends now! 😁

A grateful (and slightly less discouraged) note from a Lakeside foster mom: I’m so happy to share that Honey has been adopted! She’s already so loved and settling in beautifully with her new mom — she absolutely adores Honey, and I couldn’t have dreamed of a better match. And Mac, sweet perfect Mac, has a couple of really great leads. I’m feeling so hopeful that his forever family is just around the corner. To everyone who shared my last post: thank you. Truly. The shares made all the difference. That extra bit of visibility was exactly what Honey and Mac needed, and these shares were what connected Honey to her forever home. So PLEASE, keep sharing the Lakeside pups. It might feel small, but it’s not — every share, every comment, every kind word helps these amazing dogs find their homes. From the bottom of my heart, thank you for helping make Honey’s happy ending happen — and for helping Mac get one step closer to his!

Jimmy has been staying the last couple of nights with Machi and Mocha. I’ll be with them tonight while he goes to stay with Buckets & Jack 🥰 These girls are SO sweet and will give you kisses for dayssssss!

This weekend is JAM PACKED with visits with friends! Jimmy and I are both doing overnight visits and we even had to recruit another sitter to help with these guys tonight because we were already booked elsewhere. Tito & Goose are soooo sweet. Tito claimed me as his, in typical chihuahua fashion, so he was not letting his brother snuggle with me also. Poor Goose!
