Charlie & Molly were new additions to the 🍍🐾 crew this weekend 😁 Charlie is a very vocal “jug” (Jack Russell/pug mix) with the cutest snaggletooth and Molly is your typical lab who wants to play play play! Both are such sweet babies and we’re happy to add them to our crew! 🥰

Brewski is such an adorable little wiggle butt 🥰 he is so excited when you first arrive that he practically folds himself in half and walks sideways because he’s wiggling so hard 🤣🤣🤣 We had a couple visits with him over the weekend and will again today!
Jimmy loves the little pups that he can pick up and snuggle 💙

Luna is a 3 yr old, approx 50 lb brindle terrier that is being evicted from her home through no fault of her own. She is an unspayed female but her spay surgery and getting her utd on vaccines has generously been sponsored by Forgotten Paws of the South Rescue.
She has lived with a small dog and kids, loves people and seems to be indifferent to cats. She is not a fan of car rides 😢 Her mom says she is housebroken and crate trained.
This sweet girl really needs and deserves a place to spend the rest of her days. Please share so we can help her find it! 💙

So for all of you who have been following the Kobe saga, I wanted to give you a little update after I talked to his new mom today:

Dior (fka Kobe) is clearly being pampered, as you can see with his adorable Christmas pjs and matching SLEEP MASK 🤣🤣🤣. And apparently he was born to be a passenger prince! 👑 😂 He’s acting like he was always meant to be a part of their family and that warms my heart 💙

KOBE HAS BEEN ADOPTED!! 🙌🎉
His new mom came to meet and pick him up tonight ☺️ She loved him the second she saw him when arriving at the house and Kobe was gobbling up all the attention!
He has a few new doggy siblings to meet and a little human sibling as well. His mom plans to bring him to work with her as she visits her clients so I think that’s probably a dream come true for him! I’m so happy for him!! 🥰
Oh and they’re changing his name to Dior. They felt he was kinda bougie and I must agree 😂. He’s going to become a purse dog in no time! 🤣

We had our cousin dogs stay with us for Thanksgiving so our aunt could go out of town and know her babies were in good hands 🥰 We love having Bubba, Sassy and Lacey visit us and so does Billy! The cats are indifferent 😹 Unfortunately, Kobe was NOT a fan this time because he did not want to share me 😣. There was a lot of barking on his part and a lot of pouting on Bubba’s part because he was sooo sad Kobe would basically yell at him any time he would even breathe my way 🤦🏻‍♀️. We have to work on that resource guarding with Kobe.

This pretty addition to the crew is Lennon 😺 Her parents went away for Thanksgiving and are going to be coming back with a new kitten sibling for her! 🙀 we didn’t have too many visits with her so she was friendly but a little cautious of both of us. Overall a very sweet baby 😻

UPDATE: Kobe - now Dior - has been adopted!! 🥰🙌

Kobe - or Mr. Grinch as I’ve started to call him 😆- needs to work on growing his heart 3 sizes! He was very cranky the last couple of days while we were watching our aunt’s 3 pups because he does NOT like to share me with anyone! (I’ve heard this is a very common thing with chihuahuas when they’ve decided on their person 🙄).

This little boy really needs to find his forever home where he can truly settle in and not have constant furry visitors like we have at our house. He’s your typical nervous little dog but thinks he’s the boss of the house 😂. He’s non-destructive which is a huge plus so we don’t even have to crate him. He’s been fully vetted, recently getting neutered and updated on his vaccines, so he’s ready to go to his forever home as soon as one becomes available.

At this point, we think it would be best for Kobe to go to a quiet home with someone who is looking for a Velcro dog. Kobe seems to be fine with cats and other dogs of similar size but for some reason, he hasn’t done so well with the couple of big dogs he’s been around while with us. He will certainly need an adjustment period to settle in wherever he lands so someone who has the patience and understanding to give him time and work with his anxiety is a must.

He’s currently located in Ladson, SC but transportation can be arranged. Please share to help us find Mr. Grinchy Paws his new forever home! 😁

Jimmy & I are so thankful to all of our Pineapple Paws clients and supporters! We are blessed to be able to care for as many fur babies as we do. There have been many that have moved away (or that we have moved away from too!) and we are grateful for all of you! Hope everyone has had a blessed day! 🧡🐾💛

Today the scariest thing happened: One of my cats was calmly eating then suddenly started drooling like crazy and ran away. Turns out Rupert was choking! When I was finally able to catch him - since the brat kept running away and trying to hide from me 🙄 - I forced his mouth open and did “the sweep” with my finger to see if there was anything I could scoop out of his mouth. I didn’t feel anything but making him gag must’ve done the trick because he stopped drooling and his tongue, which had already turned purple, started going back to normal color. He scratched me up real good but I’m just glad I was there to help instead of coming home to find my poor boy had suffered horribly 😿.
