It’s all fun and games until you have to be the CEO, COO, CFO, Contractor, and sometime the legal team if they start playing games.
Running a business is not for the weak and it’s not for everyone. There are many things to think about and if you want to have a success rate that supersedes the failure statistic, you’re going to need a team of people to help. I’ve been blessed because I moved very carefully but that does not remove me from the potential of failure. It enlightens the needs that are required to continue on this path.
As I move into the new year, I will be sharing my 5-year journey as I embark on this new path. As I learn and grow from the many mistakes that I will make, may God continue to bless this business as it continues to bless others…
How I walk into the job knowing I don’t look like I know how to do anything in Furniture Assembly.
Literally, I carry my toolbag around like my purse. The most common question I get is, “Yout going to put this thing together BY YOURSELF?” And my reply is
“Yeah, cause @wayfair don’t like to pay for a second person. So I had to figure everything out by myself.”
It’s not just Wayfair tho…it’s almost every platform where you can easily book your assembly service. So don’t be upset when your so called professional isn’t being so professional. They aren’t being considered as the expert in these platforms. IJS…
