The Village Pet Spa is a full service boarding and grooming facility located in the beautiful countryside of Lady Lake, Florida. Boarding your dog will become an exciting time for your pet when boarding with us! Our staff is dedicated to providing a loving and personalized experience for your pet! Dogs will spend their nights in one of our spacious "rooms" during their stay. They will spend hours

outside enjoying the sunshine during our four daily let outs! We feed each pet their food brought from home as close to your home schedule as possible and prepare each meal by hand just like at home! Each room is cleaned daily and litter boxes are refreshed twice a day! When your pooch is ready for a hair trim come on in and meet one of our three full time groomers or snag a spot with our professional bather. Just be sure to book ahead as they sure do get busy!

We made it through with very minimal tree damage. We do have some phone and internet issues that we are working on. For now, please message us via Facebook and we will do our best to respond. All the doggies are safe and well :)

Hurricane Milton Update:

- We are continuing to closely monitor Milton as he heads towards Florida. We are open today - Wednesday, October 9th - for boarding pick up and drop off until 12 noon. No daycare or grooming.

- Our plan is to be open tomorrow - Thursday, October 10th - for boarding pick up and drop off from 2pm - 6pm. No daycare or grooming. However, we will make adjustments as needed. Please continue to monitor our page for any changes or updates. Our first priority is the safety of the dogs staying with us and the safety of our customers and staff and we will continue to make changes as needed.

- Our facility will be fully staffed around the clock before, during and after the storm. We do have generators and so we will still be fully operational if the power goes out.

- We will update via Facebook as we're able and will monitor voicemails and emails throughout the storm.

As we continue to monitor Hurricane Milton we have made the decision to cancel Daycare and Grooming appointments for this Wednesday & Thursday. We will be reaching out to reschedule. Our lobby hours will be 7 am- 12 pm Wednesday and 2pm-6pm Thursday. We will remain fully staffed regardless of the weather. If you have any questions or concerns please call us at 352-751-5711

Roxy has been hard at work keeping track of all the information and forecasts for Hurricane Helene. She gave us a great checklist to follow:

- Snacks
- Generators
- More snacks
- Humans here for all their doggy needs

I think we've got it all covered! Rest assured all your babies are safe and we will continue to monitor the weather all night. The current forecast shows the worst will be over by morning. Our plan is to be operating normally tomorrow and offering all our services - Boarding, Daycare and Grooming. Stay safe and we'll see you soon!

It's raining cats and....dogs ;-) We're not exactly living up to our sunshine state nickname today, but all the doggies and humans and doing well. It's rainy and at times a little breezy, but thankfully no damage here and we're operating as normally as possible. We have not changed our operating hours so we are here until 5pm today and we will be open normal hours for the rest of the week:

🐾Monday - Friday 8am to 5pm
🐾Saturday and Sunday 2pm to 5pm

Wrapping up another great week filled with good weather, and even better doggies 🥰 🐾🐶

We're so happy to report all of the pups and humans made it through last night safe and well 🐶🐾🥰 We can't thank our dedicated staff enough for spending the night, making sure everyone felt safe and comfortable. Tomorrow we will open for regular business hours 8-5 with grooming and daycare. Our thoughts are with those who were not as fortunate as us dealing with hurricane Milton

Miss Zara is staying cooler than ever today 😎

We're so happy to report that we made it through Idalia with zero damage. It's been a little rainy and windy, but otherwise all is well. All the pups are safe! Our customer service hours for today are 8am-12n. We will resume our normal business hours tomorrow and will be offering all regular services including boarding, daycare and grooming. Please contact us should you have any questions or concerns. Our thoughts are with those in other parts of the state still dealing with the effects of Idalia. Praying for their protection as the storm passes.

Our boarding guests are doing great! Snug in their rooms curled up and ready to rest after dinner. Some wind and rain outside, but nothing severe. We do have a hurricane crew staying with the pups throughout the night and into tomorrow until any danger has passed. We'll continue to keep this page updated. Everyone stay safe! 🐾💜🐾💜🐾
