The first pull along trailer. Horse were different back in those days. Well, actually the people using them and breaking them did it with a lot more reason than pleasure. Many horse enthusiasts are novices and therefore there are a lot more stories about what goes wrong and who got hurt. I'm a true believer that the partnership between 2 species is built from a healthy respect from both parties and the skill to effectively train through that respect as mutual love and understanding grow.

Balance, accurate cues and knowing your intention where you're going how you're going to get there makes a great horseman. After honing in all of the above is when a rider acquires a soft gentle feel creating a One Mind One Body experience that develops through time, and practical application. Be mindful, feel, listen and develop!

Our lives are depicted by our personal choice points that we make as we take this journey through life. Our futures are completely up to us to create. I am not proposing to be careful but I am proposing, that being mindful and feeling your way through things so that your destiny is one that you point yourself towards, will make a world of difference to where you ultimately land. October 11th is a day that will always be remembered. It is a day to dance in the memory of an old friend that was bigger than real in this world, I can only imagine what he is getting accomplished in heaven.

For those he left behind, it is not easy to put one foot in front of another, be strong and resilient, yet that is the only way he would want his loved ones to forge forward until they meet again.
All the great memories do make it easy to dance in the memory, shed tears and laugh while in admiration of a great man that blessed this earth with his being.

Josh Blackburn and I feel blessed that we still have Patricia and all the wonderful memories we forge with her and Michael💞

There are many ways to work with a horse. We see new trainers pop up here and there that are treaching or working with horses and they can help.
All horses are physically put together the same, move the same but have personal attributes formed in the gene pool that make them better at one thing or another. It is the mind of the horse that most trainers don't address. Being, for thousands of years an animal of prey, the amygdala is a highly motivated and effective part of the brain.
Therefore the mood, the feeling of anger, worry or frustration, any emotion you carry with you good bad or ugly can effect the horse and it's performance much more then you will ever know. But you can start becoming aware of it today.
