Kaleo is wondering if you could lend a paw.
Times are extremely tough, in animal rescue everyone is at a critical juncture. Too many dogs being dumped and bred by ignorant people and not enough space or financial help to save them. So many amazing dogs are being euthanized every single day for no reason other than space.
How you can help:
1. KEEP your pet!!!! Need food? There are programs, need medical help? Guess what? There are programs for that too! Worried you don't have enough time? Ask yourself this.....are you ready for your pet to be killed? Owner surrenders are the first euthanized for space and I guarantee your pup would rather be lazy in your warm home than dead.
2. Get your pet NEUTERED and STOP breeding dogs!!!! You are part of the problem causing this animal crisis if you don't act responsible. And don't give me some BS on "responsible" breeding! While thousands of dogs are being killed, even your "carefully" bred dogs. They aren't asking for your irresponsible behaviors. Just STOP!!!!
3. FOSTER!!! Open your heart and your home to help one of the great dogs needing somewhere to rest until their family finds them. By opening your home, you are saving a life and sometimes two lives. Be a hero, help a wonderful fur baby out.
3. π₯ DONATE π₯ Rescues are drowning in medical bills, food bills, training, medication & supplement costs. Our commitment doesn't stop when an animal is safe, each day they need individualized care to help them heal & feel their best. No rescue has a money tree to help them, they depend on your kindness & generosity to make sure each dog has their needs met while they wait for their home. Rescues depend on you to help so their animals needs are met physically , mentally & emotionally, so their doors don't close. $1, $3, $5, $10....it all adds up to help a dog in need.
4. EVERYONE can do something, even if you think it's not much to a rescue it's probably a HUGE help.
Sadly good animals are paying the ultimate price with their lives because they are being let down by humans. Good dogs are just waiting for you to be their hero, to help them survive, to help them thrive. Will you be a hero today?
