Now that we are no longer accepting any bookings on the rover platform, we have made some changes to our rates! We created an easy to follow chart for boarding services. These changes apply to all bookings starting today (1/1/2024).

We are currently NOT accepting new clients that don’t meet one of the following criteria:
1. The new client is a current client of our referral sitter (Cash's Haven Dog Boarding & Daycare)
2. The new client is referred to us by one of our current clients who can vouch for both the human(s) and doggo(s).
*Meeting one of these criteria does not guarantee acceptance into our boarding program. All initial intake criteria and procedures must be reviewed and met.*

🚨Sky booms are coming🚨
More pet’s run away on the 4th of July than any other day of the year! Be smart and have a plan! Any animal can develope a fear of fireworks at any time. Always treat firework events like it will be the one that triggers a negative reaction.

✅Ways to keep them safe✅
-exercise during the day so they are tired at night -keep collars with updated tags on them
-stay inside once the fireworks start
-walk on a slip leash during fireworks (only if a potty break is absolutely necessary - aim for last potty break to be before sundown)
-kennel or provide another safe space inside
-talk to your vet about calming medicines
-play music to drown out the fireworks
-keep their eyes away from the flashing lights
-be careful of doors

😥Lost dogs😥
There will be LOTS of people posting lost dogs. I would encourage everyone to have an extra leash on hand in case you find a dog running for safety. Any leash can be turned into a slip leash by threading the main leash through the handle and holding the clip side. Also, dogs can get extremely funky looking extremely fast. Just because they look funky doesn’t mean they weren’t “well cared for”. Be sure to look for their original home before attempting to rehome. Many pets are now microchipped, and any vet’s office will scan them for a chip for free.
