‼️Due to emergency building construction‼️.
We will be closed Thursday Jan 9th and Friday Jan 10th. The lounge door was completely broken and damaged and must be replaced so that we can secure the cats in the building safely asap. Thank you for your patience as we make sure the building is safe for the kitties! See you Saturday!

Due to the severe weather that is imminent Sunday morning into Monday, Indy Neighborhood Cats is hosting a pop up winter cat shelter pickup at Indianapolis Animal Care Services this Saturday from 12pm-2pm 2600 S Harding St.

This will be a drive thru format. Do not expect to come before 12pm.
We will have precut and stuffed shelters and bags of straw available. There is no charge but donations are very much appreciated.

Please share so that anyone caring for an outdoor cat can pickup a shelter. Over 2,000 shelters have already been distributed this year and we have more to hand out.

Today we reached 700 adoptions since we opened 5 years ago!
Thank you to our employees, rescue partners, adopters, and patrons who have helped us reach this amazing feat!

Thank goodness! We found suitcase baby!
We will not get you in any trouble if you dropped him off PLEASE private message us his vet info so we know this little guys history. He has a chip and has been neutered please just tell us what vet so we can help continue his care!

We believe that someone abandoned an animal in a suitcase at our front door this morning. We found a chewed through suitcase that had food and water inside. The animal inside had escaped by the time we arrived.

We are heartbroken for this animal. This is not a safe or legal way to surrender an animal! If you have any information please contact us so that we may know what animal we should be looking out for.
