200 days waiting. 8 years old. Still no home. 😭
Whoever adopts Sophia will be very lucky indeed. Just look what her foster had to say about her:
"Sophia loves to sleep in and will patiently wait for her breakfast. After breakfast she likes walking with us around the pond or creek in the neighborhood. She walks very well on leash! While she will sometimes dip her toes into the water, she is not interested in going swimming. 😆
At home, Sophia can be found either sunbathing in the back yard or lounging in one of our offices while we work. She has become an expert at using the doggie door, and she is fully housetrained. She does love her treats (in moderation) and will chew on a bone while she is relaxing. Other activities she enjoys include watching TV with us, going for car rides, showing off her tricks and being brushed. She's a wonderful dog!"
Sophia has enjoyed the company of some dogs here at the shelter, but we are requiring a cat-free home. We are looking for a family without kids, or with kids 14 or older.
