⚠ UPDATE: 9-1-1 PHONE LINES RESTORED ⚠

Lafayette Consolidated Government and the Lafayette Parish Office of Homeland Security and Emergency Preparedness have been notified by the 9-1-1 Communications District that 9-1-1 phone lines have been restored and are fully operational.

Residents may once again call 9-1-1 directly for emergencies.

We thank the public for their patience during the outage and remind everyone to use 9-1-1 responsibly for emergencies only.

3:30 PM Update: Lafayette Consolidated Government and the Lafayette Parish Office of Homeland Security and Emergency Preparedness have been notified by the 9-1-1 Communications District that 9-1-1 phone lines have been restored and are fully operational.

STATEWIDE 9-1-1 PHONE LINES CURRENTLY DOWN; TEXTS TO 9-1-1 STILL ACTIVE

Lafayette Consolidated Government and the Lafayette Parish Office of Homeland Security and Emergency Preparedness have received a report from the 9-1-1 Communications District indicating that statewide 9-1-1 phone lines are currently down.

Residents can still send texts to 9-1-1, which are being received. For emergency phone calls, please dial 337-232-1400.

We will provide updates as soon as systems are restored and share any critical information as it becomes available.

📍 CAJUNDOME — 444 Cajundome Blvd. Enter Gate 8 off Congress St.
🕗 8AM – 12PM (gates close at 11:30AM)

What’s included:
• Free rabies vaccinations
• $20 microchips (cash only)
• $20 spay/neuter vouchers (limited quantity)

Stop by and get your fury friends vaccinated! 🐶

All pets are spayed/neutered, fully vaccinated, and microchipped.
Adoption Fees are:
💵 35 for dogs
💵 25 for cats
**Some pets are FEE WAIVED due to being at the shelter over 30 days- please see captions**

We're open M-F 8am-4:30pm and Saturdays 12-2pm. If you can't adopt- PLEASE SHARE!

🚜 We'll also be at Tractor Supply Co. on Saturday from 11am-1pm
