Our constant supporter has done it again! 🎉 Stephanie from Raeco Realty always pops in to sponsor some pups in need. This past week, Stephanie McKinley-Real Estate was our good luck charm! She stopped in to sponsor TWO pups, Coco Puff and Toffee. Little Coco Puff, who had minimal interest, was swooped off his feet and heading home by the end of the day! Our shy girl Toffee was adopted this weekend at our adoption event too! Two pups home, within days, before we could blink! A huge 🤩thank you🤩 to our good luck charm, and forever supporter, Stephanie, for helping us find these shelter pets their forever homes! 🐾

Congratulations to both Wiggles and Toffee! 🥰 We had a blast hanging out at ShowBiz Dog Resort today! It was a hot one, but our dogs powered through (with a little help of some snow cones, of course!) We still have plenty of dogs for adoption over at the shelter so if you're looking for your forever friend, come and see us!

What's all that excitement? It's Wiggles! His name perfectly captures his favorite activity, dancing and wiggling around! This playful pup lives for fun and doesn't take life too seriously. We believe Wiggles would likely get along well with another dog who shares his love for playtime. We are unsure how he does with cats. Bucky had an amazing morning adventure! The staff discovered he loves car rides and eagerly hops right in. He especially enjoys sitting next to the blasting AC! This playful boy is not only cute but also has an amazing personality. Bucky loves playing rowdy with his squeaky toys and is great at keeping himself entertained! He has greeted other dogs with a gentle tail wag and would be open to some meet and greets. We are not sure how he is around cats. Bucky is ready to get the show on the road! With 85 years of animal rescue experience behind us, we can't wait for the next 85! Almost Home will continue to function in the same place you have always found us. Meet Cinnabon! 😋ADOPTED

This adorable little girl is near and dear to our staff's hearts! Cinnabon came to us in the middle of March after having been hit by a car and living with her wounds on the street. We quickly got her the proper medical care and fell in love along the way. It was a little hard not to when she is such a lovely little cat! Cinnabon loves nothing more than to be held and cuddled. She's constantly reaching out for some snuggles! Miss Cinnabon loves wearing sweaters and shirts! Cinnabon seems to like other cats and we believe she would do well with children and a chill dog. Puppy paloza! 🥰

While we are gearing up kitten season here at Almost Home, somehow, these puppies snuck right by us! It's a little bit of puppy mania! We have seven available puppies of varying ages available for adoption. They're all cute as a button and waiting for their forever home! When bringing a new puppy into the home, we like to remind everyone of the amount of training that comes with introducing a new baby into your life! Puppies need tons of structure and attention. They need dedicated training to work out those naughty puppy behaviors! Damon, our six-month-old over at ShowBiz Dog Resort knows this well! *Scooby is available for adoption! Fluffy has been adopted!

Requirements include:
-Hiring Dog and cat staff
-Available for 8:30-4:00 or 10:00-6:00 shifts
-Able to work 4-5 days (25-35 hours) a week
-Must be able to work Saturdays, Sundays, and Mondays
-Starting between $10.00 and 10.50 per hour
-Cannot have a prior or current criminal conviction on record

Bumblebee has previously shared a home with two other large mildly-energetic dogs. Bumblebee was returned to AHHS due to no fault of his own, and is now looking for his forever home.
