It is with great sadness we would like to let everyone know we had to say goodbye to Bonnie today! She lived a long 14+ years being spoiled and loved by many. Her body gave out and she told us it was time to let her go. Run free sweet girl! We will miss your warm eyes and stubborn personality!

Meet Harper, Sawyer, and Parker! These adorable 10-12 week old Great Pyrenees mixes are ready to find their forever homes!

They have all been spayed/neutered, still getting their puppy shots, and are growing fast! These sweet pups will grow to be very large dogs, so please be prepared for the love and care they’ll need as they get bigger.

Important Info:
- They will need regular grooming and will shed a lot.
- A fenced yard is preferred so they can safely play and explore as they grow up!

We want to explain Burt’s needs for his new home. We’ve had several people inquire about him but feel his special needs have requirements.
Burt has anxiety with loud noises and meeting new people. Also even though he’s older, he is still very active and under foot most times.
We feel he must have secure fenced yard so he feels safe.
No children in the home because of loudness and busyness.
Then he will need activities to keep him busy but not where large crowds or loud noises.
He’s fine with other dogs and enjoys playing chase.

Meet the three newest additions to LHAS!

These three sweet puppies came to us extremely scared of people and the world, but they’re already making incredible progress! They’re starting to come out of their shells, eager to play, and beginning to seek affection.

While they continue to settle in, we need your help! We’re looking for name suggestions for these cuties. Two females and one male, estimated to be around 8 weeks old. We think they might be Pyrenees mixes. 🐶

Meet Piper, a 2-year-old calico mom who is super sweet, loving, and friendly, though she’s a bit scared of dogs. She’s been a wonderful mom to her two adorable 3-month-old kittens. Candace, a playful black female, and Perry, a sweet tabby boy, are both super affectionate and full of personality! All three of these kitties are looking for their forever homes!

Boba is roughly a year old, energetic, affectionate girl and eager to please. She is spayed and current on vaccines and heartworm prevention. She does well with other dogs of similar size or larger. She's played with other dogs in a playgroup and daycare setting and with other dogs while in foster.

It's unknown how Boba is with children, but given her high energy, she would do best with older children and in a home without cats.

Boba deserves a family that will help her live her best life.

Joplin is a 2-year-old Great Dane who is looking for a new home due to not getting along with the dog in her current household. She does great with cats and kids and is friendly once she gets to know you—she may be hesitant with strangers at first but warms up quickly, especially with treats.

Joplin has had a gastropexy, is spayed, and is up-to-date on all vaccines. She would do best in a home without other dogs but is sure to make a loving and loyal companion for the right family.
