Planning a trip with your furry friend? Here are a few tips to keep them safe and comfortable:
✅ Use a secure carrier or harness for car rides
✅ Never leave pets unattended in vehicles
✅ Pack their essentials: food, water, medications, and comfort items
✅ Keep ID tags and microchip info up to date
If you’re traveling internationally or by plane, train, or ship, give us a call to schedule an appointment! We’ll make sure your pet is healthy and ready for the journey. 🐾

We are closed today for the holiday, but we’ll be back tomorrow to help keep your pets happy and healthy! If your pet is due or overdue for a ProHeart injection, call us tomorrow morning and we will get you all set up!

✨ As 2025 winds down, we’re reflecting on all the pets and families who made this year special. From belly rubs to snuggles, playtime to checkups, every moment counts.

Tonight, as celebrations begin, remember to keep your pets safe and comfortable. Create a calm space, double-check ID tags and microchips, and keep them indoors if fireworks are part of your festivities.

As a reminder, we are closing up at 10 this morning and we will remain closed tomorrow. We will be back to help you and your pet on Friday, January 2nd!

Dr. Pete pursued his love for animals in 2003 and received his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Louisiana State University School of Veterinary Medicine in 2007. Dr. Pete began practicing veterinary medicine in 2008 at Town and Country Veterinary Clinic. The practice outgrew the original location, and a new clinic was constructed in 2016. Dr. Pete, leads his team and serves his patients and their owners with compassion. At Town and Country the aim is complete pet care through State of the Art care and education for the best life possible of the pet.
