Murphy rocked his field trip to DICK's Sporting Goods. He was a little unsure of the store and mannequins at first, but adjusted quickly once he was able to investigate. He did very well performing his obedience cues in a new environment and loved sitting for pets. Great job, Murphy!

🐶 This is a 4 week course for puppies ages 10 weeks to 5 months of age. Class meets the same day and time each week for 5 weeks. Your puppy will learn eye contact, sit, down, come, stay, leave it, loose leash walking, go to bed. We will also discuss how to address jumping, chewing, barking, digging, and potty training.
📌 The cost is $175/puppy. SPACE IS LIMITED!!!

Murphy, the Bassett Hound, is making fantastic progress with his obedience training. He had so much fun on his field trip to the Sit Happens Training Center and was able to maintain focus in a new environment. He's been working hard on his loose leash walking and recall. Great job, Murphy!

Peppa, the Yorkie puppy, had so much fun on her field trip to the Sit Happens Training Center. Not only is she rocking her potty training, she is also excelling at learning her obedience cues. Great work, Peppa! ❤️

🤩Check these star pupils that are currently enrolled in our Wednesday night Puppy Class! Dorris, Zahra, Elliot, and Ellie are learning so much each week in class. We're currently working on potty training, down, leave it, and leash walking. They're a lovely and vibrant group! ❤️

Sit Happens Dog Training is locally owned and operated in Lafayette, Louisiana. We specialize in pet dog training and behavior modification. We provide services for all of Acadiana. Services include: Group Classes, Workshops, In-Home Private Training, In-Facility Private Training, Behavior Modification, and Board & Train.

We use positive reinforcement training methods that are approved by veterinarians and the top leaders in the dog training industry. We tailor our training plans to meet the needs of each individual pet.

Vikki Bourgeois is the owner and head trainer of Sit Happens Dog Training. She has over 10 years experience in the pet care industry where she developed a special interest in trick training and behavior modification.

Vikki holds the prestigious title of Certified Behavior Consultant Canine (CBCC-KA), a title only 161 people hold worldwide. She is one of two CBCC-KA’s in the entire state of Louisiana and the only one in Acadiana. She is also a Certified Professional Dog Trainer (CPDT-KA) through the Certification Council for Professional Dog Trainers, a Certified Trick Dog Instructor through the “Do More With Your Dog” program, and Fear Free Certified Professional. She is an American Kennel Club Canine Good Citizen Evaluator and Puppy S.T.A.R. Evaluator.
