This 1 hour workshop is dedicated to learning the tools needed to walk your dog politely on a loose leash. We will cover auto sits, eye contact, relaxed heel, obstacles and games. This workshop is for dogs and puppies 10 weeks of age and older. The cost is $45/dog.

🤩We had a fantastic time at our AKC Canine Good Citizen Workshop this weekend! Gabbro, Mr. Mac, and Gabby worked so hard eith their owners learning the skills needed to pass CGC Test. Everyone did great and learned what skills need more training such as supervised separation and walking past other dogs on leash.
🎊We'd like to congratulate Gabbro and his owners for passing his test and now earning the title of Canine Good Citizen!

This intense one hour workshop will cover body awareness exercises and muscle toning. K9 Conditioning is a great way to better the bond with your dog while exercising their mind and body. Bandit and Sully recently completed our Intro to Agility Class. They had so much fun getting familiar with equipment such as the A-frame, tunnel, weaves, dog walk, and jumps. They both gained so much confidence and focus. Great job! 🐾

🤩Alyoth and Archie recently completed our Canine Good Citizen Class. They worked very hard each week and made great improvement with their focus and training. They have a few skills to work on, such as supervised separation, but are well on their way to becoming "Canine Good Citizens." They made fantastic progress with sitting for petting and having friendly strangers approach them without jumping. Don't forget we have an AKC CANINE GOOD CITIZEN WORKSHOP tomorrow morning at 10 am if you'd like to work on the skills with your dog.

😍Meet Huff the 5 month old Maltipoo puppy! He's coming all the way from St. Francisville for private training lessons at our Training Center. He is such a sweet and social puppy. He's in training to learn his obedience cues and manners. He rocked his first lesson and we are excited to follow his progress!

Roux, the 4 month old Goldendoodle puppy, is currently enrolled in private training lessons with Vikki. He's in training to learn his basic obedience cues and manners. Roux is also struggling with napping appropriately. Puppies at his age should sleep 12 to 16 hours a day. When he misses his naps it results in him being cranky and overstimulated. We are working on teaxhing him to settle and developing a nap routine. He's very smart and loves to workbfor treats! ❤️

Vikki holds the prestigious title of Certified Behavior Consultant Canine (CBCC-KA), a title only 161 people hold worldwide. She is one of two CBCC-KA’s in the entire state of Louisiana and the only one in Acadiana. She is also a Certified Professional Dog Trainer (CPDT-KA) through the Certification Council for Professional Dog Trainers, a Certified Trick Dog Instructor through the “Do More With Your Dog” program, and Fear Free Certified Professional. She is an American Kennel Club Canine Good Citizen Evaluator and Puppy S.T.A.R. Evaluator.
In addition to Vikki’s certifications, she is also a member of the Society of Veterinary Behavior Technicians, professional member of the Association of Professional Dog Trainers, and Pet Professional Guild.
Angela Hoppe is a professional dog trainer for Sit Happens Dog Training. She has over 7 years experience in the pet care industry where she developed a special interest in trick training and equine training.
Angela is a a Certified Trick Dog Instructor through the “Do More With Your Dog” program, professional member of the Association of Professional Dog Trainers and the Pet Professional Guild. Angela is the proud companion to novice and intermediate trick dogs and is pursuing her CPDT certification through the Certification Council of Professional Dog Trainers.
