Update: Gemma has been given an extension due to rescue interest

Gemma is scheduled to be euthanized on TUESDAY, August 27 at 3:30 PM if we do not find a foster, adopter, or rescue to save her!

Meet Zi, an adorable dog who arrived at the shelter with his brother, Zo. Both Zi and Zo are very sweet but understandably frightened in their new surroundings. Zi is very shy and would thrive in a patient and understanding home where he can feel safe and loved. Can anyone please help these two brothers find the comfort and security they deserve? Meet Karli, a sweet girl who did wonderfully around other female dogs. She loves to cool off in the water, which is totally understandable given how hot Louisiana summers can be! While Karli was a bit shy at first, she quickly warmed up to our wonderful volunteers. With a little patience and love, Karli is sure to blossom into a loving and loyal companion. If you're looking for a gentle soul to share your life with, Karli is ready to make a splash in her forever home!
