🐈🥩Does a raw diet for cats actually make a difference??

If you have been in to visit us in the past 8 months, you've probably met Mouse.

She was rescued by Gray Muzzle Society from a shelter that believed she was beyond help. Mouse was born with a short colon, which impacts her ability to digest certain foods. When she first came to us she had to be on medication, was extremely underweight (only 4lbs!) and was experiencing both vomiting and horrible diarrhea. Her fur was also very patchy as she had a tendency to pull it out from discomfort.

We put her on what we call our "IBD protocol", a strict diet of only raw rabbit. Within a few months Mouse was completely off her medication, was no longer vomiting and having fantastic looking poos (if we do say so ourselves). She reached a healthy weight of 8lbs and now has a lovely soft coat.

Stories like Mouse’s are the reason we are so passionate about the importance and benefits of feeding cats a species appropriate raw diet.
