Update: Arrangements have been made for Bowser. Thank you so much for your interest. One application works for all of our dogs if anyone else catches your eye!

Bowser, a 2-3 year old, English Bulldog, 58 pounds, looking for a new home. He was an unclaimed stray. Bowser is in need of a surgery to correct screw tail that will cost $600 to give him a better quality life with less irritation from this issue. If you have it in your heart to donate towards his care, please see the link below!

Bowser has a very friendly personality and greets strangers very well. He does seem to have moments where he gets a bit nervous or protective of his space. As long as you can recognize that he occasionally needs left alone, then he is otherwise a very good boy. Bowser is house trained and trustworthy to be left uncrated when alone. We feel Bowser would enjoy being the only pet in the home and soak up all the attention for himself. We recommend a home with kids 12+ living in the home. We would always recommend supervision around any other visiting children as with any dog. Bowser is very good on leash and loves to go on car rides.

Bowser loves to sit on top of his crate, rather than inside it, but does seem to be familiar with being crated. We just haven't had to! He enjoys lounging on a bed and loves to spend time looking out the window watching the world go by. He is not built for distance or spending too much time in hot weather. His quick bathroom breaks tell us he is also not fond of the current weather! In typical Bulldog fashion, his owner will always have to watch for typical Bulldog issues in the folds of his skin, etc. He otherwise has a clean bill of health aside from the tail issue that will be covered at our vet in Lafayette.

We are looking for a foster or foster to adopt home that has no other pets willing to let Bowser move in, settle down, and get through his surgery. Bowser is neutered, up to date on vaccines, heartworm negative, and microchipped. Please send a message if you have any questions! One application works for all of our dogs.
