Cage free to whoever can come get it in Lafayette asap. 3’x3’x3’ but it has been outdoors. Latch is rusty but cage is not broken. First come first served. Thanks! Otherwise it’ll go to the curb for big pickup day.

I met this handsome boy’s family today. They’ve been his family for 37 years. I made sure to share my muffins with them. Apparently Merlin likes them! Bon Apetite Merlin!

Wakie Wakie! Giada is much like Chauncey and sleeps amongst the hanging cozies. She also likes to sleep in! Don’t we all? Especially on Sunday!

Claudia is visiting with her sweet birds, Echo and Munchkin. They literally enjoy a picnic on her as they get their cuddles.

Giada is a beautiful red fronted macaw and she is enjoying her stay. She can’t decide which is better… the fun children’s program on the television or looking outside and watching all the wildlife out there.

Sunny morning and a break is appreciated. Crawford is so dainty and seems to enjoy every bit of his treat. We try to imagine the freeway noise is the surf on the shore. That takes some doing!! Can you hear the Nuttalls woodpecker on the tree? Crawford can! Happy weekend!

There’s something very therapeutic about having Crawford on my lap while I am watching the race. He’s so calming. While he’s dozing off…I can pinch the dried keratin off his beautiful feathers. He hardly even notices. His version of a spa treatment.

Many of my clients have older birds and they can expend a lot of energy trying to stay warm. They may fluff their feathers up. These cage heaters are what I use if required. The birds will migrate to the heat if they need it. Just thought I’d share this with you.
