Shea Stables is located on Alpine Ranch in Lagrangeville,NY.
We have:
- Large matted box stalls (extra large and small horse/pony available as well). -
- Pine pellet horse stall bedding (soaked)-
- 1st and 2nd cutting horse hay-
- Grain fed- purina and triple crown brands-
- Large, lush, dry paddocks for turn out-
- Heated wash stall with hot water all year around-
- Heated tack room-
- Storage room for tack boxes and other supplies-
- Half mile long race track for running/speed and endurance training or for just leisurely walks observing scenery. Can also be used for mounted archery and for mock cross country course. (Any equipment must be transportable and easy to move)
Care includes:
- stall kept horses turned out in AM and brought inside in PM
- Grain twice per day
- Fresh water daily- checked appropriately according to weather conditions
- Hay given twice daily AM and PM, during cold months, hay given as needed for daytime turn out. Round bails provided for 24/7 turnout
- Stalls cleaned daily/ bedded down
- Blankets changed as needed or request
- Barn farrier every 6 weeks- referrable if needed others are welcomed- available to bring in and stand with horse for farrier or vet and turned back out.
