The Blue Bell Foundation for Cats We provide loving and compassionate, lifetime care for senior cats whose owners have died, or can no longer care for them.

We are a cage-free facility, located in Laguna Beach, CA. Blue Bell is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization, EIN # 33-0246182 The Blue Bell Foundation for Cats is a non-profit organization that manages a cage-free sanctuary for senior cats whose owners have died or who can no longer care for them. Blue Bell started as a boarding facility for cats in the early 1960s and today provides loving lifetime

care for its feline residents, and peace of mind to those who entrust their cats to Blue Bell. Blue Bell cats reside in a vintage cottage, which has been converted to a fully licensed facility, located in rustic Laguna Canyon. The cats have free rein throughout their cozy cage-free home, which offers cushy bedding, cat trees, and climbing and perching areas. Spacious enclosed catios complete with fountains, playhouses and climbers, provide the Blue Bell kitties with plenty of fresh air, outdoor scenery, bird watching and lounging. Blue Bell includes a separate “special needs” facility for cats with medical or behavioral issues, and is where new resident cats initially acclimate to their new home. The cats interact daily with volunteers and staff who provide lots of love, affection and playtime. Veterinary care is provided by Canyon Animal Hospital located within minutes of Blue Bell.

It’s Welcome Wednesday!! 👏🏻💗🐾🎉
Please give a warm Meow to Flynt!!
He arrived at Blue Bell on November 16 and will turn 14 in February. His owner had a change in her health and could no longer care for him. She loves him very much and was so happy to have found Blue Bell and have him live here.
If one word could describe Flynt, it would be "magnificent." He is a big, friendly, curious boy, full of energy and a personality to match his size. He loves catnip, being brushed, being outside on the patios, and playing with everything, be it a catnip toy, wand toy, or a game of chase around the patios.

He likes to drink water with his paw and has a silly habit of lying down with a water bowl between his legs, and his neck fur in the water, and he'll then lick the water off his fur. 😹

He has settled in quickly and gets along with the other cats well, although he's had to learn that some do not reciprocate his enthusiasm for new friends. Hahaha

We love this big boy very much! 💗💗
