IMO there are 5 pillars of health for humans and our pets.
1. Food/ Nutrition (eating fresh whole foods not processed foods)
2. Water (clean & filtered)
3. Energy (stress, balance and love)
4. Exercise (regular exercise & stretching)
5. Grounding (being in nature)

After almost loosing Kona I reprioritized what was important to me. Working so much we didn’t have balance. We hadn’t been to the mountains in years. Living by the beach but never had time to enjoy it. I wanted to do better for Kona. Two years ago I started an online business to work remotely and have flexible hours. In October, I was presented with the opportunity to hand dog tub off to Maria, someone I trust and admire . Kona and I (Lee and Roo too 😅) are off to new adventures throughout North America seeing, smelling , and peeing in as many parks as possible 🐕 🏕️ Thank you for the past 6 years !!!

6 years ago I felt it was important to create a healthful pet store where I could make a difference by educating pet parents on healthier , holistic options for their pets. I am thankful this community embraced nutrition for their pets and have enjoyed watching your pets thrive !
I am thrilled to be handing Dog Tub off to a wonderful, knowledgeable and long time friend, Maria.
Many have you seen Maria over the years. She was at my grand opening, parties and covered for me many times over the years. Maria and I bonded 10 years ago over pet nutrition. She comes with over 15 years of pet industry experience. I know she will continue to uphold DogTub’s quality standards and advocate for your pets ! Thankful for the innovators in the pet industry! We were thrilled to have Roxanne Stone, formulator of come by our store yesterday. Roxanne is a wealth of knowledge, we talked about everything from leaky gut, to micro plastics disrupting the endocrine system and of course the solutions product line. We are so lucky to have her as a resource for the health and longevity of our pets. 🤗🤩🙏

Two things that really resonated with me..
🤍 Stress - Watch your/pets stress levels. Stress is the #1 cause of inflammation. Inflammation is the root of all evil. From skin disease to seizures and everything in between. Start by disconnecting from technology, taking walks, and practicing meditation with your pet. 🧘‍♀️🌎🐶
💙 Detox - Due to the heavy rains, we will be experiencing higher allergens & mold this year. It is important to boost all of our immune systems and do a light liver detox. I recommend to start now! An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure. Pick up some , &/or . We also love & ⚕️🍃

Thanks to the stress scan Theo finally found the food that worked for him!

🛟 Eight years ago today Ben Carlson, a Newport Beach lifeguard, lost his life to rescue a swimmer in distress. Everyday lifeguards risk their lives to ensure the safety of others. 🇺🇸 Over the Fourth of July weekend Laguna Beach lifeguards made 893 rescues.

I love the ocean but I am also terrified of her. She is beautiful and full of life but she can also take the life of even the strongest waterman/ woman.

To show my appreciation for those who keep us safe while we surf, paddle, and swim, all proceeds from pet nail trims in July & August will go to the .
The Ben Carlson foundation provides education on water safety and scholarships to young waterman & women.
