This is a courtesy post in regard to a cat we received a call from a local vet needing assistance. His current owner is nearing the end of their battle with cancer. We can provide contact info if you feel that you may be able to help ❤️🐾 I will include the picture of his injury in the comments as it may be graphic for some.

He is about 5 years old.
Neutered Male
Black/White domestic shorthair
FIV +
We have rabies vaccinated him

Seems healthy otherwise
He is the sweetest boy ever, just wants a person to love and snuggle him. All the history I know is that he has living under the owners porch for about 5 years. In hospital he doesn’t seem afraid of dogs, he doesn’t seem fazed by the noise and barking. Not sure how he is with other cats. I’ve been carrying him around in my sweatshirt and he is a total love.
He was brought in for a wound on his tail that will need daily bandaging until it’s healed. Ideally he should be kept inside, until healed.
